BONDED STIFF

Our love knows no swiftness;
Its tied and bowed in stiffness:-

Our life of love, is no played game;
Rather, it's an everlasting bond attained:-

May our love always be like a royal evening ball;
A loving affair desired and wished for, by one and all:-

May this precious bond between you and me, ever be,
A God-granted blessed bonding, deemed for eternity:-

Premium MemberFibro Rhyme - to the tune of Sweet Child O Mine

People don’t see, the pain that I’m in
and nobody’s asking why
& if they did, they wouldn’t care
as life just passes me by

Pins & needles & the aches & pains
sneaky and sly they be
all the stiffness & exhaustion too
is not what people see

Whoa, oh oh this pain of mine
whoa, oh oh this fibro rhyme

Now & then I wish I could have
a smile upon my face
I’d take the pain & lock it away
in an unknown place

I used to have much energy
now all over I hurt
times have changed, woe is me
my life is much like dirt

Whoa, oh oh this pain of mine
Whoa, oh oh this fibro rhyme

Take it away now, take it away
take it away now, take it away
Go go go go go, this time
Take it away, this pain of mine.

Premium MemberRudolph's Broken Leg

Santa's reindeer were in preparation,
training for the big occasion,
getting themselves in top condition
for their Christmas Eve expedition.

But on this particular Christmas,
Rudolph was experiencing pain and stiffness.
Santa worried about his fitness
and a noticeable lack of swiftness.

X-rays showed Rudolph had a leg fracture,
so he was temporarily put out to pasture;
and seeing as the winds were rather choppy,
Santa delivered presents in a flying jalopy.

Reluctant To Age

This can't be my age!
I am still young at heart
The life of a party
Though hitting the bed by ten
Gained a few kilos of weight
But can fit into my youthful jeans
Grew sluggish and shorter in height
Although ready for a morning jog
Have to wear glasses now
As the print size has become smaller
A few grays in my hair don't tell my age
Merely a fashion statement
That adds a touch of elegance to my carriage
My knees hurt from the cold not stiffness
The reflection in the mirror shows what I'm not
An elderly haggard lady
With baggy wrinkled eyes and sagging jowls
As my passions still drive me forward
And I am still living my dream
For age is just a number
It's only the spirit that counts.

Santa's reindeer were ready for Christmas,
but then Rudolph developed some stiffness.
They asked his son Robbie
to do the job and he
agreed, which was most serendipitous.

Veronica and her friend Monica
joined loved ones to celebrate Hanukkah.
They sang songs of the season
giving very good reason
for Monica to play harmonica.

Meanwhile, Madonna and her friend Tonya
went to Togo to celebrate Kwanzaa.
Upon arriving, alas,
they both inhaled some burned grass,
which authorities called marijuana.

Stiffness

I try not to.
I blink anyway.
Like blinking out seawater.
It pours.
Goosebumps are uncontrollable.
Sitting for hours.
Sitting unnaturally.
But I can’t shift, only sway.
They command me to stand.
My feet are asleep, but that’s not the worst of it.
I see my surroundings again.
Bed.
I’m embarrassed.
I lie down and become stiff again.
I don’t bother with the blanket.
It never helps.
I don’t bother crying.
It never ever helps.

My coat

My coat

In the value of the user in value formation.
Establishment of space use.
It is necessary to be able to channel the dark gas of space into the coat.
More power for application.

I carried fifty billion five hundred thousand people with a coat.
Body measurements are calculated for weight flexibility.
Processing the steps requires more performance.
Extra stiffness power for body joints.

Fibromyalgia pain, unbearable at times
Is only good for turning in to rhymes
Bending is a problem with pain throughout
Regular twitches and spasms of doubt
Obnoxious frenemy causing woe
Morning stiffness from head to toe
Yawning constant every day
Aggressive and hard to keep at bay
Ligaments, tendons, muscles all sore
Gastro tracts feeling poor
Insomnia making for sleepless nights
Anxiety, depression, memory fights

Swollen glands, shooting pain
Temperature swings, damn migraine
Ribs hurt, back aches, itchy skin
Out of order, BUT not giving in
Nerves all frazzled, Fibro is rough
Gives us hell, BUT we are Tough.

Winter's Horror Show

With spooked nerves' dead of night woe
This horror show
Morns and fogged, quaking on through.
Eves and fogged, back.

A bony figure's stiffness
And lifelessness
Treed, which its leading part plays.
Treed, with star's knack.

Premium MemberFibro Friend

Oh for the Love of Fibro
there for me every day
constantly reminding me
she is here to stay

With twitches and cramping
aching and pain
heaviness, weakness
& a foggy brain

Stiffness & trembles
Tender skin too
exhaustion & rib pain
but that’s nothing new

It’s just my Fibro friend
keeping me alert
reminding me constantly
my life has turned to dirt

Oh for the Love of Fibro
wish she’d go away
she’s so damn clingy
& Aint no friend today.

Human Toxicity

After injection, inhalation,or ingestion, the first symptoms to appear are muscle spasms. They appear very quickly after inhalation or injection within as few as five minutes and take somewhat longer to manifest after ingestion, typically approximately 15 minutes. With a high dose, the onset of respiratory failure and brain death can occur in 15 to 30 minutes. If a lower dose is ingested, other symptoms begin to develop, including seizures, cramping, stiffness, agitation and hypervigilance.Seizures caused by poisoning can start as early as 15 minutes after exposure and last 12–24 hours. They are often other adverse symptoms, including hyperthermia, rhabdomyolysis, myoglobinuric, kidney failure, metabolic acidosis, and respiratory acidosis. As poisoning progresses, tachycardia(rapid heart beat),hypertension(high blood pressure),tachypnea(rapid breathing), cyanosis(blue discoloration),diaphoresis(sweating),water-electrolyte imbalance, leukocytosis(high number of white blood cells),trismus(lockjaw),risus sardonicus (spasm of the facial muscles),and opisthotonus(dramatic spasm of the back muscles, causing arching of the back and neck)can occur.

Contest betwixt us friends had been common,
Who is who? Who, here, is a true lawman?
When two palms trees though compete to grow high,
They do not crush the common plants nearby...!

Don't, yet, serpents raise their hoods in anger?
Don't their pique sounds, like gongs, often, clangor?
Ladder and snake, a game we used to play,
We win, or, lose none ever nothing say...!

It's when we started our major business,
Within us arose, like froze ice, stiffness;
When he grew I fainted and vice versa,
Body ached; heart bound; veins stood like bursa...!

When I won he lost; when he won I lost;
In our functions, yet, both had been one host;
Like beet-root when I shoot he maintains mum,
Like onions, I too empty at his numb...!

How vast and pervasive is the Moon?
Hugeness hints there stand two
Orbs and a turbulent stream
Simply like the dawning sun
All over the half-moon horizon.

On the shore of credulity
The froth shed detritus and sea salt
Carving a path into level sand
Slicing the weft out of silk
By cutting across the fabric kernel
The waves were sealed on the scanty shore
The furor was in harmony with the dust
Pearl-like seaweed and scrubber.

Moonlight over the Sea at Dawn
It is ideal and so spectacularly tempting
The churning water bred white foam
I am enthusiastic to have the plunge
The tendons, sinews, and guts were all wary
A season invests these twilight hours
Fetch the ache and gentleness
Misleading magnetism
My inner mermaid is hopeless
The moon was merely out of the embrace.

It related me to a no-blue world
Spume was kicked by white ponies
As they did in our fourth year of dreams
Cantering toward the welling of time
In the utter stiffness at the two ends
Do not feel dire about shedding tears
The spectrum of the dull light
We never noticed.
