Stay Put Poems

Historical Paint in Town

Exploration!
Confound?
In your exit!
Out myself?
"While Lancaster assumes the role"
News and filming
My first conviction times, bold.
Losing renewal values
Abundantcy people on a crime
I'm sure of that much
When I'm in the business transaction, okay and your going?
Off the call.
It ends in you called yourself back, I'm fine.

Premium MemberShe’s No Longer Dry - bawdy limerick warning

My auntie, who was on vacation
Was lusting for fast fornication
She met a well-hung guy
But her foo-foo’s too dry
She blurted, “It needs lubrication!”

The fella, whose first name was Dick
Said, “Stay put. I’ll be back real quick
I’ll purchase sticky Jell-O
‘Twill turn your foof bright yellow
But ensures my entry is slick!"

The Jell-O lube worked really well
Dick satisfied my Auntie Mel
Next time she needs some lube
She’ll melt a Jell-O cube
Aunt’s shagged out. I think you can tell!

Runner

“When you find yourself in a hole, quit digging.”
- Quote by Will Rogers
----------------------------------------------------
Ever since a kid
I have learnt to run
Sensitive to what others say, feel, decide
When the say is crude rude hurting
When others feel I can be pushed over
When others decide how I should be
I run

Ever since a kid, I have learnt to run.
Sensitive to patterns on harm, hate, jealousy
When the harm is on sensible senses
When hatred is hissing between teeth
When jealousy manipulates paths
I run

Ever since a kid, I have learnt to run.
Joy touches heart, sorrow heats up soul
It takes courage to run away
Than to stay put sometimes.
They don’t even know I am long gone
Being with them all the time
I run

Paid

The thing about killing Angels
you have to remember is always go for the kill shot
Most of them can easily take a grenade to the face
Those arch ones usually stay put and watch
Basically on tap with God
Seldomly they will make an appearance
Demons are tricky
Disguise themself basically animal vegetable mineral
One time my electric razor tried to bite a clump from my cheek, huh still makes me smile
He turned towards the boy
His crumple of a face
grimacing
The book boy learn it well

He turned hunched over
Bent and snatched the head from
the prone child at his feet

The sack boy open it
Without the head
We won’t be fed….

The boy pulling a single golden strand from his pocket
the strand warping reality around it
air forming the sack

Please
Just once
Not a three point shot…

Another 3 seconds he chide only infinity to go
At this rate we will be working long after the end

PUT

Stay put
And no hustle and rustle
Let life wear and wane with time
To weather in adverse weathers
Like a stone
So you ought to stay put like a grit
And hug wishes a whistle
Into a collection of weird worlds
Then dig I a stone
And rub shoulders with the great!

you get!

you get
i stay put
you exhausted
and i have energy
back into water
the land
gave me, defend
no war
less waters
more oceans, charts
sights, and steering
steering from within land
ho
another bleak outlook
and my pen and internal
ability, become, unfold
distant danger on both headings
get us there, not home

and they are gone, never coming back
and i am them, and you are not
taking you to them, and i am not where
where i should be?

steering into the wars, of want
of want i am unfamiliar
and to provide description
i am without contempt
response is craze
death, inner depth's casual, take

the taking of homes, before
before another work
another chart
somber dayling, i will drag you over
over dragging, somber ending
i remove you
describing the me
ending them

Nature’s Reward

There is so much this world can offer
But “been there, done that” settles in
There is no need for us to scoffer
At ones' stay put and “hasn’t been”

Think you have seen the earthly beauty
When hitting trodden tourist paths?
Come to big cities, gleaming snooty
Yet never try to take bypass

Bunch ways less travelled, places hidden
The shores, the mountains – take pick
They are wide open, not forbidden
Drive on dirt road to get a kick

We seldom see unspoiled beauty
With eyes so tired of TV
Before you leave, make it your duty
Watch starry sky, because it’s free

Let autumn leaves be quilt aglowing
On which you cannot leave a mark
To Nature’s mastery be bowing
Spectator sole, bewildered stark

To sit and listen, forest speaking
With jumbled words of rustling spigs
Lo, smell the wind, aromas streaking
Of flowers, water, fungi, twigs

Sunset at desert, small bonfire
They put one’s mind in gear shift
Important things you thought of prior
All take back seat so “tout de suite”

No one is coming spoil the moment
Yours to imbibe, save evermore
That’s what you get, as your bestowment
For sneaking out through backdoor

Ambition

Greedy for affection
Such is a sin
Keep still
Stay satisfied
With remnants of love
A heart that yearns
Seldom leads to rejoice
Stay put
Keep complacent
Contentment is no affliction
Know that your desires shall never come to fruition

Nervy Are My Heedless Words

O clock-faced time
why do you twitter all day long -
begone all ding dongs
and bell towers.
I have a French fry on my shoulder,
my body trembles internally
broken springs click-clack,
knock upon self-beating gongs.
Yes, I am angry,
often bitterly bothered
about the passing of
just about everything,
and why on earth
cannot I stay put
and pause the thought
of oblivion
just for one
uninterrupted moment.

Running into Gray

Running into Gray
If I could go back
I would say "I Dont"
If I could go back
I would stay put
If I could go way back
I would say "I Do"
No more wondering mind
Staying where the ordinary
Is extraordinary.
where I lust for the mundane
only solitude finds me
Simplicity, Routine and Stability all so wonderous,
in hindsight.
So self absorbed , I cant find my way, I am unable to
recognize and appreciate
The Dull Moments.
Running to the next bigger better moment forgetting
to relish in the former.
No Pink
No Purple
No Yellow or Reds
Only running into gray.

When You Don't Try - You Fit In

Being how you are on purpose,
and being what you are is often effortless,
I suggest a course of non-action.
Self-help from mentors
will land you both pickled in the same cosmic jar.
There are all kinds of just rightness,
stay put,
being your own special kind of fit
in this misfit world.
Reality is a jigsaw puzzle for the sightless,
be the last piece to be found.

Twister

As the wind starts to spin
Blowing everything from without and within
Damaging property in it’s path
Getting this and missing that

The sirens blare in alert
It starts to gain power and thirst
Cycling faster and faster
Picking up sound a pending disaster

Everyone and everything is running for shelter
Underground getting out of the weather
First a silence than a roar
As it shakes and rattles the floor

In the bathtub you must hide
To stay put is suicide
Nothing is safe from its power
Choosing what to destroy and devour

Pulls a tree out of the ground
Grabs it and spins it around
Throws it far and wide
As it moves through the sky

Destruction is all it knows
As the energy grows
Then it is gone in a flash
The beauty of the rainbow at last

Change
I used to be the mother
        who entertained.
I used to be the mother
who made spring rolls
and stuffed clams
and fancy entrees
        for parties
Once I worked all day,
        cared for my children and
        baked fancies to sell for
        a little extra money
I made South African frikkadels
        and tangerine dessert for
        my daughter’s International Day
        at school and, another time,
a Colonial dress with a bustle,
        needed tomorrow!
Attended my sons’ band concerts
and football games.
Nights found me at League of
Women Voters or other meetings.

Now I rarely go out at night.
Sometimes I bake a coffee cake
for church coffee hour,
plain, nothing fancy.
I sit while I mix and stir and
use a walker to get around.
Today my children tell me to stay put
while they get my coffee
or find my book.
Now I am the child and they
the busy parents who care for
and worry about me.

cold

Ice about to touch my bones.
Fear from the years before,
keep me stay put for yet another year.

I'm Fearful Of That Menacing Look

Is it meanness or even jealousy:
a plot to harm me heartlessly?
I'm fearful of that menacing look,
it's a horror story I read in a book!

Your intentions are extremely evil,
you put on the face of the Devil;
I stay wide awake, sleep won't ever come,
I don't look fine, I thought this was home!

I'm fearful of that menacing look,
If I say hello to someone, I get a lecture;
you come running and a make a gesture
not too pleasant and call me a jerk!

I can be jealous too, mine is not an obsession...
yours is and believe me it scares me quite a lot;
my affairs are in the past tense, I use discretion:
nobody touches me, I don't lie, I do what is right!

I'm fearful of that menacing look,
I isolate myself, if I hear a knock
on that door: I stay put and ignore
your silly screams that hurt to core!
