Tongue Tied in Clichés: A Blessing in Disguise
A blessing in disguise,
a double-edged sword—
a far cry from peace,
yet all in all,
at the drop of a hat
we reach for a ballpark figure,
beat around the bush,
break new ground,
burn the midnight oil.
By the book we cut to the chase,
play devil’s advocate,
fill the void with food for thought,
start from scratch,
then get cold feet.
Give the green light,
go down in flames,
hit the nail on the head,
find ourselves in over our head,
jump on the bandwagon,
keep something at bay,
leave no stone unturned.
Out of our depth,
past the point of no return,
we read between the lines,
take it with a grain of salt,
see only the tip of the iceberg—
until at last we throw in the towel.
To mend a comforter have you ever ponder to be biases free---
After eight unique life stories, you will find at last, atlas, a recess to be cellular free
Btw,
Ozone and Viola will start from scratch again, to inflict punching or hatching, her three
Whence,
You will remember pascal, oracle and Miraculously miracle all are turning black
The Orion,
In Mid forties, you do not need nieces and nephews to play along face booking
Motherhood
You long for so long to genuinely understand ingenuity, that sparkle on dew drops
Pearls and petals
And prayer bids that glow in the dark, and you play hide and seek with a gone yesterday
They all, as they
Soar higher in voice over fading a far for a distant sound, as the sound of the pristine may
She never called my good name
I never heard my good name, too
They both called each other with so many, so others, bundled a soar, that does not matter
Anyhow, anymore.

Daybreak
Let me unbotton
The scarf of the feelings
Behind your chest
The layers of mirage
That filled you with mist
The fetters around your bosom
And let me try
To break your shield
On the rips of truth
On the lips of the lightening words
In the middle of the night
I want to creep so deep
And reach your glass of thought
That keeps you afar
At the doors of the facts
To watch your limbs
Striding the moon
And beam with pleasure
In the eyes of the young
So tightly clung
To the sides of the river
That springs in your heart
With dispatch
That is born in brains afresh
To start from scratch

A featureless mind
What a beautiful thing
Start from scratch
Let's let go of everything
Grab your twine made with love
Let us bind our hearts to him above
Bring the rose that lives in the garden
The beautiful blue one, the one forgotten
Lets ask the doves that flies above
If we barrow their revered love
Let's let go of everything
Leave hate in the past
Open your mind
For a love that lasts
So start from scratch
What a beautiful thing
The featureless mind
Could truly bring

Symmetry appeals to me –
The yin demands a yang.
Imagine Dracula if he
Had just one single fang.
A balance is required
For a bird or bee to fly
So Nature has conspired
To explain the reason why.
We have two eyes, two ears, two feet
And, naturally, two hands.
Symmetrically, we are complete
To follow life’s commands.
Rebellious types like things askew,
Eschewing any match,
But when I see their work on view,
I wish they’d start from scratch.
It's not easy to be trim and fit
so I just let my body go
As for drive and motivation
I'd rather take things slow
Good looks are hard to come by
That's why I didn't try
Regarding top grades and all
I gave up in junior high
Ah, but when it comes to laziness
They say I'm 'King of the Hill'
And regarding plain incompetence
At that I'm highly skilled
So, ladies: If you seek the 'perfect man'
I'd make some other plans
But if you'd like to start from scratch
I may be the perfect catch
Let me unbotton
The scarf of the feelings
Behind your chest
The layers of mirage
That filled you with mist
The fetters around your bosom
And let me try
To break your shield
On the rips of truth
On the lips of the lightening words
In the middle of the night
I want to creep so deep
And reach your glass of thought
That keeps you afar
At the doors of the facts
To watch your limbs
Striding the moon
And beam with pleasure

When you've spiralled down
And lost your way;
And it feels like your demons
Are here to stay...
Take a breath,
Try to stay calm;
You've hit rock bottom;
It's a new platform...
To build a new life,
Start from scratch;
Have faith in the plan,
That heaven has hatched...
To guide you and mould you,
Perfect and blessed;
You will be fine - soon;
You just have to pass the test...
For life puts us through
So many paces,
But we aren't ever given
More than we can face.

I’ve got a great idea and let me stress that it’s great.
Why pick and choose history to delete or debate.
Let’s erase it all and have a fresh new start.
No more racism or hate, no more violence at heart.
Let’s burn it all down and just start from scratch.
Maybe God should kill us all and start a fresh batch.
Is that what we want? Is that what we need?
Why keep blaming the past and ignore all the greed?
Black and White, yellow and red, a purge in the streets.
Would that make you happy? Would that make you complete?
Come on now, the madness must stop!
It’s not because of skin color and it’s not because of some cop.
Statues and pictures do not bring about hate.
Does a gun fire itself is this really our fate?
We need to pull our heads out and stop this divide.
We are all human beings, there is only one side.
Concerning our hobbled earth~
God must yearn to start from scratch
We've been given multiple chances
but have turned Eden into ash.
Our minds are filled with plastic thoughts
and the burrs of nuclear rust.
A hellish-metal-hearted, selfish species
that no other species should ever trust.
War species-filthy DNA staircase...
bleach it clean with a mutating gene
splashed with peaceful sequences.
Until our gilded God intercedes
he should float a no vacancy sign
upon the shallows of our minds.
I was walking down the pavement
I seemed to be going through a rough patch
I had to do some house payment
But it seemed complicated I had to start from scratch
The payment doing was in my mind
When I saw a young man in my yard
He seemed low, otherwise he was kind
His attire made him seem like a security guard
I watched him until he got close
The walk seemed familiar though
And his face didn't make sense
You couldn't exactly tell his moods or emotions
He took out a sharp knife and stabbed me several times
I laid down there helpless and saw you heading our way
And the most painful thing was that I saw you shaking hands with him
Sometimes
Sometimes it feels like you are the only person in the world!
People all around going their own way
You are surrounded by a bubble separating you from everyone else
There is an invisible barrier keeping you apart
Even loved ones move away
There is a force field pushing you apart.
It’s like being on the outside looking in
Looking through a window seeing your reflection in the glass
People inside carrying on with their lives
Not noticing the person in the window with the shadows in her eyes.
Its time to move on
Time to build up your life again
Hold onto your Faith
Start from scratch
Start from the very beginning
Gather your strength, work on your stamina
Build up your immune system, get fit
Live again!
Collect happy songs
Work on peace and tranquillity
Walk in the Son and Holy Spirit
Build up your laughter
Hide behind the mask on your face
Hide behind the veil of your hair
Hide behind the clothes that you wear
Show only the brightness of the Son
Imitate Jesus be like Him in every way
Work on humility and passion
Love and peace
You are different accept that
Move on and live!
Sometimes it feels like you are the only person in the world!

I need to learn
I need to see
All this harm
And complacency
What am I doing
In life yes writing
Poetry is nice
But how far have I come
For it to all be undone
And start from scratch
All over again
They say you can’t remember pain, but every time I hear your name, I can’t breathe, someone help me.
The memories won’t leave me alone, I’m beginning to spiral out of control.
It’s all too much the thought of your hands on my body, but you see;
these stitches I’ve sown, oh they’ve come loose, talking to you, I am talking about you.
So from here on out, I vow to myself, to find somebody new.
Who won’t bring back the past and play it again, I want to start from scratch, I want the pain to end.
But it’s hard and I’m tired of holding it in, cause we used to sing, about our love.
Now I’m afraid my voice will fade to a whisper.
As long as you were talking, I would be there listening, every word meant the world to me.
There was nothing you could say and I wouldn’t hear you out, that was how we worked, two gears pressing on.
An now it’s all gone.
