SOFTLY FALLS THE NIGHT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
softly falls the night
golden hues upon the land
peaceful evening sky
stars like diamonds
twinkle in dark velvet sky
night's celestial show
This poem is a cliché bonanza, practically begging for an AI checker to throw its hands up in frustration. Have fun AI. ROFLMAO
Beneath the moon’s soft, silver glow,
Where gentle breezes whisper low,
The stars, like diamonds, dot the night,
As love takes wing in fleeting flight.
The roses blush a crimson hue,
Their petals kissed by morning dew.
A lone bird sings a mournful tune,
Of hearts entwined, then split too soon.
Time’s river flows, a ceaseless stream,
Carrying life’s ephemeral dream.
The shadows dance; the echoes fade,
As twilight wraps the world in shade.
And yet, within this well-worn verse,
A spark of truth may still disperse.
For though these lines may oft be spun,
Each cliché holds its weight for one.
Above the world, where sunlight streams,
And cotton candy clouds, like dreams,
I dance with wisps of silver white,
A symphony of airy light.
No gravity to hold me down,
I twirl and leap, with joyous sound,
A ballet born of sunlit air,
Where whispers of the wind, I share.
The moon, a silver orb so bright,
Looks down upon my airy flight,
And stars, like diamonds, softly gleam,
As I perform this celestial dream.
With every turn, a new delight,
A whirlwind of pure, ethereal light,
I dance among the clouds so high,
A spirit free, beneath the sky.
And when the dawn begins to break,
I leave this dance, for earth's own sake,
But in my heart, the memory stays,
Of dancing in the clouds, for endless days.
Beneath a sky of velvet, deep and blue,
Where stars like diamonds twinkle, bright and clear,
My heart, a vessel, filled with love for you,
Admires the beauty that you always wear.
Your eyes, like galaxies, vast and unknown,
Reflect the universe, a cosmic sight,
Your laughter, music, sweeter than a tone,
Dispels the darkness, fills my world with light.
And as I gaze upon your radiant face,
A love so pure, so deep, I cannot find,
I'm lost in wonder, filled with such a grace,
To have your love, a treasure of my mind.
So let us journey through this starry night,
And hold each other close, forever bright.
The art was most masterful on the dark canvas,
portraying an artist's mind when feeling anxious.
His palette compiled of pastels in shades of grey,
weaved brushstrokes in symphonies pain can play.
His eyes consumed in obsidian thoughts untold,
he splashed secrets he was once afraid to unfold.
Emotions bled as his mind reflected midnight's trance,
but each stroke was a shield against a demon's advance.
Hues of onyx were now replaced by vibrant tones,
as shadows slowly drowned out ignorant moans.
He created a masterpiece of soft yellow moonlight,
as his artistry portrayed bright sapphire daylight.
An avant-garde maestro flowing in textured motion,
painting stars like diamonds in his inky ocean.
Rainbows and sunshine now reside in his realm,
where his abstract art crafts a harmonious helm.
The ancient eyes of the Ethiopian sky,
Gaze down upon the land, where time drifts by.
In their depths, a history etched in every hue,
Stories of a culture both old and new.
Beneath the celestial canvas, a tapestry unfolds,
With stars like diamonds and stories untold.
The cradle of humanity, where life first began,
In the Ethiopian sky, the Earth's ancient plan.
The constellations dance, a timeless ballet,
As night turns to day and darkness gives way.
The moon's gentle glow, the stars up high,
Are the ancient eyes of the Ethiopian sky.
They've witnessed empires rise and fall,
Heard the voices of generations call.
In their watchful gaze, the world they've seen,
From the mountains to the valleys, where nature's queen.
The Ethiopian sky, a treasure trove of lore,
A testament to the past and the stories it bore.
In its ancient eyes, we find our roots,
A connection to history, in its silent pursuits.
So, as we look up and ponder the why,
Let's remember the wisdom in the Ethiopian sky.
In its celestial embrace, we're never alone,
For in its ancient eyes, our stories are known.
In the hush of twilight's gentle breeze,
Nature's enchanting lullaby appease,
A symphony woven with whispers of trees,
Caressing the earth with tender melodies.
Beneath the crescent moon's celestial glow,
Softly murmurs the river's ebb and flow,
Its gentle rhythm embracing meadows below,
As crickets chirp and fireflies gracefully glow.
The stars, like diamonds, adorn the midnight sky,
As constellations sing their lullaby,
The tranquil dance of moon and stars on high,
Conducting nature's soothing lullaby.
Through rustling leaves, the whispers pass,
The secrets of the forest revealed en masse,
A melody sung by the blades of grass,
A harmonious serenade that will forever last.
Lulled are the weary souls by this divine tune,
Nature’s lullaby, a balm for hearts immune,
In tranquil slumber, dreams begin to bloom,
As nature's whispers weave a heavenly cocoon.
So close your eyes, let peace embrace your being,
As nature's love takes flight on wings unseen,
Let worries drift away, embrace the freeing,
For nature’s lullaby brings solace, evergreen.
Stars, like diamonds in the sky, sparkle, wink, float and sink through the sky. At dawn's golden eclipse, the world born anew, the golden sun begins its long journey over the sky. The wind flows over a waking world of wonders, as the rooster sonnets the mornings sunshine. Good morning.
Stars like diamonds
The stars are like diamonds,
shining brightly in your eyes
Illuminating my darkness
as you cover me with your skies
The moon in it's splendor
is nothing when compared to you
Your reflection of my love
comes beaming right on through
Excerpt taken from my poem
called Universal love.
