Redaction of Treasury Note

A world stabilized by signature
Completed comprehension of letters
Leaving of all accounted
To begin work without support
Endowing the mind of all alive
Without distraction
The treasury note
Bill is paid
I spoke nothing in tongues
Check is written forth
Before failure begins a new
Annuity is gained interest from slovenly designed
Augment of an unhoused mind

Redaction of treasury note

Labor has de fine as wage
Add of time in coursed labor
Constriction of appendage is resignation

Premium MemberThe Kings Table

Laden with delights
whether PF Changs, Carmines
or Noodles.

The buffet, one dish at a time
arrives - raviolis, lasagna, cheese toast,
steak, salad and much more.

The talk amidst the food - “Taste it,”
“What’s your favorite?” “There’s the Titanic!”

The dessert didn’t float, did fall on its side,
did delight the table eyes.

The King’s Table, stabilized the reunion of family
and friends. Comfort food with roulette and dice.
All pitched in a few bucks but the King
was the biggest giver - he has a spendthrift heart.

Moody's Groove

rough lumber
and 32 inches of
concrete stabilized cobb
with interior and siding
and rough lumber ends
to make the interior
look like a log cabin
a overlapping roof
with windows centered
16 inches inside
the
rough lumbered walls
a rustic modern
living area
to sheild the
persons from the
ruffs of winter
and the harsh heat
of sumer.

Acclimatization

I have almost absolved myself from
causing all that emotional mayhem
that a youthful spirit engages upon
not having yet acclimatized itself at all.

Was it my fault if all those
hormone-ridden relationships,
all those peers of mine
that bought only a fake copy of me,
an unedited work in progress
now look back in anger?

Now of course I am acclimatized
to my personal environment,
acclimatized and stabilized
in that cramped, now and again
state of imperfection
most of us aim for.

Nevertheless:-
caveat emptor.

Premium MemberOfficially Poor

My accountant said I'm officially poor,
so I headed out to the grocery store.
Food now costing so much more.
Preparing tuna casseroles, eating spaghetti
striving to keep track of every penny,
is making me anxious, my palms now sweaty..
Gas prices may have stabilized but every thing
else continues to rise, even every day household supplies..
Merchants smile at you so you think their the nicest
and claim that it's all post pandemic prices or that limited
supplies have caused this food crisis..
I've said no to Lancome and designer jeans as I struggle
to stay with in limited means. My bank account chronically
seems to be lean..
It's not much fun being poor, especially if one's known
money before. I'm starting to ask what else is in store?
Let freedom ring from sea to sea but America is no longer free.
I'll keep on working at 73.

Seathed Conflicts

Seathed Conflicts

Devastatingly ignited fire of riot for a decade,
A bundle of clean rags of thoughts catches,
Through a baptism by flames of accidental occurrence ,
In a certain place causing damage and stress,
A strong wind fans the my inner strength,
Seedlings of my new themes on empty landscape,
Self-exposure of the war camarilla of my vision,
Outbreak sliders effectively against right-handers,
Of my hidden chestnut tree of foresight,
Adrift of the peacemaking weaver takes deep insight,
Unvoiced desires and pitiful vulnerability,
Push up the bliss of revealed emotions on costs,
Of my scope of my measure of domained land,
To restore the life of broken stabilized feeling,
Escape by recrossing of hovering of thoughts,
Away from the tides of time destiny,
Great pillars of my determined decision,
Prison the warder of white rose flames,
A war broken host may drive them before,
An ardent mind pathetically shelves himself,
When phantoms of battle burst in mist.

Premium MemberAnomaly

Solitude provides artistic solace;
Freedom to behave like a rogue,
showcase the beauty of an anomaly;

An addiction to limelight is the anomaly;
Creative endeavors desire solace
yet are inspired by dancing rogue;

Displaying the heart of the rogue
who’s arrhythmia fuels this anomaly
stabilized within quiet solace;

The poetic solace of this rogue anomaly.

Acclimatization

Acclimatization is a serious matter.

Therefore I have almost absolved myself from
causing all that emotional mayhem
that a youthful spirit engages upon
not having yet acclimatized itself
to whom it was, or to what it would become.

Was it my fault that all those ‘soon to be’ lovers
bought a copy of me,
that was an unedited work in progress?

The maxim: “they know not what they do”
has to apply, or we would never arrive at that stage
of namely and to wit,
that stabilized imperfection most achieve.

Caveat emptor.

Premium MemberLiving, Upended

walled isolation
     when a relationship hits hurdles
     gripped by the unfamiliar
a stillness that caves in on us

our small spoonfuls of conversation lack direction
      closed pod, defensive
my near muted pleas to break free of holding back
for nothing good brews in brooding

sucker punch of speculation
      health shifting
      the enemy, a diagnosis
      to map variables, unknowable

our dreams having no scale
de-stabilized by no surety of self
we hide behind silence like a well placed curtain
     balancing on slippery rock sickness
                              life altering

words perishable
    numbing
a fall-to-pieces stillness
like a windowless white room that traps the urge
                                                                           to breath

O Well

I have almost absolved myself
from causing that emotional mayhem
that a youthful spirit engages upon
not having yet acclimatized itself
to whom it is, or what it would become.

All those lovers and haters
bought into an early copy
an unedited work in progress.
It’s the pity of youth that we
never give each other time for regret.
Apologies may or may not arrive decades later
often they are just told to the sky.

Forgiveness is given and accepted
between distant shadows of us.
We tidy up past regrets in an old room long vacated,
until eventually we arrive
at that state of stabilized imperfection
most of us hope to achieve.

Acclimatization

Acclimatization is a serious matter.
I mean one cannot keep bouncing around
a kaleidoscopic chameleon-like center
can one?

Therefore I have almost absolved myself from
causing all that emotional mayhem
that a youthful spirit engages upon
not having yet acclimatized itself
to whom I was, or to what I would become.

Was it my fault that all those
‘soon to be’ lovers
bought a copy of me,
an unedited work in progress?

Most who waded in the ankle-deep shallows
of those earlier days were but rough drafts,
early editions of what they eventually turn into.

The maxim: “they know not what they do”
has to apply or we would never arrive at that stage
of namely and to wit,
that stabilized imperfection most achieve.

Though I do pity the girls
who bought that knock-off copy of me,
the women who were scammed
by a none-copyright version of myself,
but to be fair,
they also were none-acclimatized
and should have saw
the dire warning: caveat emptor.

Premium MemberMy Lord and I

My Lord and I have a history, and through Him, I have victory.
His Presence is no mystery, but is always embracing me,
Creating intimacy and making me feel safe and totally free.
Anytime I have felt like a troubled sea,
His word has always calmed and stabilized me.
His church has made me feel that I truly belong.
His steady Spirit has kept me strong.
I always know where to run when I am wrong.
Into His loving arms, I can always find a song.
Regardless of how long, unfair, or how hard the test,
In His sanctuary, I always experience my haven of rest.
Even when I grow weary and worn, and my patience wears thin,
Like the gentle chimes near my window pane, slightly touched by the winds,
He always speak to me in the soft tones of a whistle, and my soul is soothed.
I'm grateful that His written word balances me so that I never need be fooled.

The Victim

The victim

I was in my fifties when women found me desirable
and I became a victim of their lust.
The wife of a friend of mine came in as I came out
of the bathroom starkers.
I'm a moral person, but this was a situation unavoidable
so we ended up in bed until she fainted.
Women talk, I got a call from a woman who had a swimming pool
in the back yard, I drove there, but she wanted more
and more she got until she exhausted fell asleep.
I drove home, and my old girlfriend was outside my house
she was drunk, wanted more wine, I gave it to her, and she demanded
sex, happily she fell asleep when she awoke she thought
we had had sex, she had a shower and wanted white wine
before driving home kissing me warmly asked me if she was
good in bed reassured her she was the best.
It was as my sex life had reached a crescendo, a heart surgery
stabilized my emotional life, I should have taken the women
to court, I had only wanted to be friendly
and they used my goodness to their vantage, but it is too late
but I can complain to ME TOO movement

Plow of Compassion

I look down the hill and see the plague in the valley
Ravaging farmer, field and crop alike
Where the bundles are stored and young children are carried
Every motion they take, they go farther from light

All that can help them is the plow of compassion
It too has a memory, it too can yield
May it help them cross rivers of poisonous passion
May its fair irrigation revive every field

I look in the news for one sign of improvement
A chance that conditions have stabilized
The faithful and hopeful are all-too-human
They seed their land to adapt and survive

All that can help them is the plow of compassion
It too has a memory, it too can yield
May it help them cross rivers of poisonous passion
May its fair irrigation revive every field

I check in on the children before my own nightly struggle
Their faces untarnished by the slightest corruption
What weapons have I to protect them from trouble?
What lessons have I to teach them life’s repercussions?

All that can help them is the plow of compassion
It too has a memory, it too can yield
May it help them cross rivers of poisonous passion
May its fair irrigation revive every field.

Apppeal By Being Aromatic

having a pleasant and distinctive smell.
"a massage with aromatic oils"
synonyms:
fragrant · scented · sweet-scented · sweet-smelling · perfumed · [more]
chemistry
(of an organic compound) containing a planar unsaturated ring of atoms that is stabilized by an interaction of the bonds forming the ring. Such compounds are typified by benzene and its derivatives.Compare with alicyclic.

Instead of us raising a lot of static,
God said we would try new tactic;
Poems review;
Great we knew;
Add appeal with things aromatic.
