Squishy Poems

Dumbstruck Dumb-Luck

The soft curves of your smile,
    echoing mile after mile.
Not reminiscent of a grandma,
    but rather, a banana.

Your glowing doughy eyes,
look as squishy as thy thighs.
You create a fervent need,
akin to a vampire, lusting to feed.

You send my brain a-boiling,
as a custard that is spoiling!
Left unable to speak or think,
A simple blank stare, forgetting to blink.

Premium MemberIf I had a Marshmallow Shooter

If I had a marshmallow shooter, I would pelt my friend
Her craving for marshmallows would come to an end.
These soft squishy sticky sweets would be all over her lawn
And stuck to every sweater and dress she tried on

I would make sure there were marshmallows in her hair.
She would have to take them with her everywhere.
I would give her minis, and the colored ones too.
By the end of the day, she would despise this goo.

Premium Memberfish caviar versus ant egg caviar

Caviar is fish eggs and I think so blobbish and ugly
Squishy and squirmy looking; they do not tempt me
Mexican caviar is supposedly ant eggs, definitely not free
How they capture ant eggs, I really do not fathom or see.

Tea Tales

Come and climb these
Broad bony branches and
Have tea on this tree
with me,
Let's talk our hearts out
Into the poems unsung.

Sleep silently singing in my sizzly eyes,
Sleep might snap with some pumpkin chai,
The sun is seeping in my sulky bones,
Soon the milky moon will mysteriously be alone,
Here, have some squishy scone
While the sun is setting sleekly,
I reckon we should have tea weekly.

Sandalwoody sultry summer,
Hyacinth, hibiscus and hummers,
Poppies, primroses and periwinkles,
The night in esoteric eyes twinkle,
Starling singing on a starless night,
No gloom, a moon , no light,
In this sordid slumber silence,
I can hear your eyes speak.

Let's tell each other
All our hearts hanker
To say,
Drink tea and recite
The poems and make
No delay,
I'll have chamomile tea,
I'm not Mrs. Bennet
But it'll calm my nerves,
You like your tea with herbs,
Spearmint, rosemary and thyme,
And make sure the poem rhymes.

A squab, a squid, a squishy stump
A troll, a gnome, a stick, a chump
How else to describe my cousin Bump?
You see, he also is a bit of a chump

A Flock Is Encircling an Esophageal White Sky

Above a beached bleached paperback, "The Doors of Perception",
a pent-up penchant for greed is flung wide open:

The esophagus of a seagull sky grows narrow
until one seagull stomachs trash with zero
tolerance for sharing. Squeaky double doors apprise
descending gulls this bird has wings doubling in size.

Squishy moist sand, footprint-ridged into pouty lips,
chased-away seagulls waddle toward crushed crumbs.
Captains trudge farther ashore or return to ships.

SIX WOMEN PATIENTS

   SIX WOMEN PATIENTS

Six broken women lay down to rest
brown bodies all in a row
six long stories to tell with jest
six smiles with a million tears
race around ward releasing fears
just so

Six windows uncurtained offers
six sunny acacias buffered
trolleys reel, pills and bottles steep
surgeon makes his rounds with a nod
six students in tow
asking six silly questions to know
just so

Six hard beds high, sigh-slept many
linen stiff as a new penny
squishy meal of mieliepap mixed veggies
making six quite edgy
whose next for operation table no-one knows
they can though still touch their toes
just so

six sets of eyes close for night
dream of kids, chicken pie, golden flights
needles, nurses, morphine gone
no slips on escalator or hip joint pain
they reconnect their own wires, abiding fires
flowing into Aegian sea as African queens

awake back in ward, still here
wee patients not free, see ?
Matron says ‘Go pee’
just so

Premium MemberRecipe - Successfully

I tried to skin her, but no dice
        Tried again, no luck twice

Cut her with a knife, an utter failure
So, I stood her up, tried to impale her

When that didn’t work, I felt like a jerk
        Time for some hands-on handiwork

I shook her and squeezed her, out came her juice
All squishy and gushy, her moorings came loose

Honest to goodness, she smelled sweet from all angles ~
Mangoes taste best slightly chilled if serving them mangled

The Poetic Arts

Terminology:

Crystal booths in a nocturnal snow.
significant downpours of shedding stars.

This said, feel free to scatter, scrabble or mash.
Words are fungible,
many still believe that poetics
do indeed belong to the fungi family,
though some have been classified
as many-limbed Triffids
of the squishy kind.

Now throw moondust at the reader's eyes:

Obscurity is essential, however, first create a window
that opens to reflect the thrower.
Rain down upon the moondust until mud takes shape.
There are no words for this process,
so, make some up.

Flourish:

Without a final flourish the poet is left with a turgid puddle
avoid turgidity at all costs, especially puddles.
Sprays of celebratory tinsel
or globs of gore are always effective.
Reaching for the stars with a palsied hand
will jerk tears out of a slab of concrete
eventually.

Swiftly leave the space you are now occupying,
other's will be impatiently waiting to craft their next masterpiece.

A Drip-Dry Memory

Your hands linger now as prints upon my mind.
I became a glove for your love.

I gave you my tongue
so you could speak a moment of ecstasy.

You gave me Cauliflower Cheese,
the only meal you could cook.

Then when you were done
with my squishy love,
you left on a bus, never to return.

That was back then
when cakes were left out in the rain,
when poets wore bell-bottoms.

I recall it rained for days
in our love-stained apartment.

The mattress survived,
but all too soon,
it forgot how to talk
like you used to.

Sensitive Behavior

Last night together baby, pains my core.

One two three four, one two three four.
La la la la la, la life is gonna stop.
La la la la la, la husk is gonna rot.
Festering in my basement, shh baby face it.

If you run, oh it’ll get me mushy squishy and wet!
Plea I beg you sprint my furry little rodent,
When I catch I’ll shave you silky smooth,
Then go deeper rub my body crimson hue.

Hairsbreadth, velvet lips warm breath,
Don’t make this harder than it already is,
Stab drive kiss your cheek as my knife twists,
That’s it, let go, find your way to crepuscule.

Fall limp I wrench I grind I cleave and slice,
Slip the slick all moist in slit as I wear your body,
Hehe oh I have been naughty snip your buddy,
Beat behind your breast my breast in flesh.

It’s erotic alive thighs you might make me blush.

Premium MemberSymphony of Rainfall

Written: February 22, 2024
                         __________________________________

I love the gentle rains of spring
falling with felicity as they sing.
A symphony of sweet romance
Clamor to“Come out and dance”

So, I shall join the raindrops there
While pirouetted through the air
As rain rolls and returns, I'll sway
As they perform an aerial ballet

The rain will bear a rhythmic beat
On the pavement squishy and sweet
We shall twirl a tango at nature ball
Whilst the sparkling waters mildly fall

Afterward, when the skies start to clear
And the epic dancing is utterly here
I accompany the newly formed rainbow
Raindrops shifting offer a serenade show

Yet, their call will resound in my ears
As supple showers start to fall as tears
Until then, my emotions will remain
The delight of dancing through the rain
