Spring Rain

The dark sky stretches across the heights. 
Overcast clouds roam, late at night. 
The round moon does not reveal its rays. 
The snow on the peaks may melt away. 

In the morning, the sparrows fly joyfully, 
Plucking flowers and perching in the trees. 
A pair of wild doves appears sad and silent,
While blackbirds search for

whispering to the flowers...

Sweet Spring Rain

In the gentle morning glow,
Spring rain sighs on petals,
Sweetness in each drop,
Blossoms quiver with delight,
Nature's tender kiss unfolds.

Quagmire

Eternal rainfall spring gardens suffer
Alluring snowdrops drowned in sea of mud
Water deluge cascading down gutter
Daffodils suffer because of the flood.

There is sadness about springtime quagmire
With noses pressed against wet window pane
Waterfall moment nothing to admire
Birds do not sing mellifluous refrain.

Weather forecast grim there is no bright spot
Expectations of spring completely bleak
Wait, silently sleeping "Forget-me-Knot"
Pretty blue

man of mood                      chatterbox

coming        

Song of Spring Rain

people we pass get lost in scenes
shadowed by clouds endless dreams

outside conversations with rain
a cold april day again

spring brings another time
another rhythm another rhyme

puddles from on streets
water comes down in sheets

shadows of clouds veil
falling from the heavens a touch of hail

in every ending a time to begin
a change of weather a song in the wind

breathe the essence of spring rain ~
sweet, light, clear, fresh, soft.

Garden of Hope

Laughing tulips caress my thoughts
pursuing my muse, forget me knots

Hues of vibrant roses, blushing gently
soothe my spirit, inspiring
gardens, smiling tender

Rain falls lightly, drizzling against soft buds
whispering affection from up above
where heaven pours out its nurturing floods
silencing blossoms of all but God's love

dancing daffodils
lemony joy so alive…
nature's vow of hope
