Life is an amazing adventure
Not for the faint of heart
The ups and downs, the challenges
Can weaken resolve from the start
When you're a very young child
Things seem so simple each day
Biggest decision you're faced with
What kind of game to play
Girls don't enter the picture
They're annoying and spoil the fun
Whoever invited them to play?
They can't even shoot a gun
All they want to do each day
Is play with their dolls and stuff
They never want to go climbing trees
Or wrestle to see who's tough
Sooner or later we become teenagers
The girls seem quite different now
Our attitude towards them changes
Suddenly we're moonstruck, kerpow!
Next thing you know it's junior prom
And we're trying to show we can dance
Not much rhythm here I'm afraid
Like a turkey walking round in a trance
Meet your soul mate and then you marry
Buy a house with a view of the lake
Soon you're blessed with a couple of kids
Then you're Grandpa for goodness sake
Well that was a whirlwind journey
Through a lifetime of happy and sad
Now be honest, you loved every minute
'Twas the best time you've ever had!

Sun’s up
Neighborhood cats
Have resumed their posts
In my yard full of holes
Arms folded, ever alert
Occasionally arching, creeping
And even springing
At giggling gopher ghosts
The felines revel
In having something to do
Getting it done
Would spoil the fun

From the day I remember
She is always with me like a close member.
Whenever I look at a mirror,
She whispers in my ear
Highlighting only my minus to my terror.
Whenever I try to smile at someone,
She quickly points out
How someday it might spoil the fun.
Whenever I appreciate something,
She just laughs at me and says
How I don’t even have that one thing.
Emphasizing something she makes me jealous,
Thinking it will make our relation zealous.
Whenever I try to reason with her,
She makes a sad face
And let the feeling of the guilty stir.
She says, she wants to protect me
But I am pretty sure
She wants others to neglect me.
Whenever I feel happy and content
She fills my mind with her wicked stories
And make my feelings dent.
Even when I am dying every day,
I can’t run away
Because she merely resides
Within my mind like a curse all the way.

I did something this week I should love and take joy in doing
That left me broken questioning myself as a person
Failing miserably it made me face my limitations head on
And I was found wanting in so many department's
I reverted to type my dark side that no 1 likes
To be around because I spoil the fun of other's
Who only came for the love of the game
It's such a shame I can't enjoy the taking part
More than cursing and casting aspersions
On everything within my control I failed to master
My temper is my sticking plaster that covers up my inability
My aptitude lacked
And that's a fact
Back in the day till today

The Bend
Do I want to know what's around the bend
What fate waits for me
Who I will meet
Where the winding road will take me
I know where the road has brought me
The worries and pain along the way
It had made me love people, I shouldn't
Lose people I loved
Do things I knew I shouldn't have done
Still, I walk this road
Endlessly travelling into the future
Sure of the past
Unsure of where the future is
Do I want to know what is around the bend
Not really
Why spoil the fun?

no doudt
as walk and talk
you see kids at play
hear they say
thats my friend
let there love began
hand to hand
play in the sand
and run
DON'T SPOIL THE FUN
Hands soothe shoulders and the neck
Warm soft lips at your earlobes peck
Taste the fragrance of the skin
Oh those burning fireS deep within
And down the spine the fingers run
In come the kids and spoil the fun
Not all stories have an happy ending
Poison is very real but in no way would I drink it to make my day.
Real or may, the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are here to stay!
