Spies Flawed Sight in Tammuz,
Yiddens’ Tragic Hearing in Av,
Shemiras Einayim, impropriety removes,
3 Middos did Avraham have,
Good Eye, Humble Spirit & Generous Neshama,
Their counter moves:
Ayin Rah from a blind Lev,
Arrogant Spirit, Ala denial of Truth,
Greedy Neshama follow ingratitude does!
Yet thinking your answers give birth,
To the Emes, yields “Gaivahdik” shallows,
Better to grope! … say, “I don’t know!”,
20/20 can be an illusion,
Attending focus is by Anavah,
5 Tammuz 5771 was my stroke intrusion,
Closing my outer eyes is how,
My inner eye yields “Ruchnius” Fusion!
Echad = 13, Unison,
It’s the 13th Anniversary!

Premium MemberLove His Absolute Best

I thought to bring you
a bouquet of stars,
for everyone brings
roses; I thought of a
ruby, big as mars – but
who could wear such
a thing?! I thought what
value such a tiny heart
though it beats only for
you, someone who has
become my world? Then
I thought behind this tiny
heart, driving my every breath,
is the God of a universe,
who thought of Creation,
Love His Absolute Best!

It Was 40 Years Ago Today

It was 40 years ago today
She walked down the flowered aisle,
Tears flowing down ruby cheeks
She'd be married in a little while,

Through detours and windy roads
Since you wore that princess crest
Have caused our love to grow
Cos matured love is really the best.

Ra's Zenith - Tanka 79

                Sun up in the sky
The longest day of the year
                Looking in for growth
                Sitting and manifesting
                Welcome to Summer Solstice

Premium MemberAnniversary Chimes

A full moon early at the rendez-vous
Ushering delicate dulcet nocturnal chimes
On this day our anniversary
But is it a mirage or really you
There at our secret meeting place
Used to say you wouldn’t miss it for the world
The stars align and pivot in our favor
But is it a mirage or really you
Pulled by the allure of love that death cannot extinguish
At peace with a nonverbal bartering
That leaves me with the consolation
That you really are here
Of this I have no doubt

Premium MemberAnniversary Tribute to My Pastor and His Wife

Anchored upon great genuine godly love’s magnificence
My Pastor toward his wife exemplified genuine care’s iridescence
Beyond romantic zeal around marriage vow’s faith-seal, truly wondrous
Proven by their triumphant wedding anniversary, indeed glorious!

Buttressed by the Saviour’s compassion of virtuous charity
My Pastor’s first and only lady sweetly epitomized fervent selflessness-serenity
Living well with her “I do” to husband-leader and ultimate sweetheart forever
Midst blissful one flesh* warmth of being in-love ever!

*Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Dedicated to my Pastor, Rev. Ed Laurena and his wife, Ma’am Dhel Laurena
who are celebrating their wedding anniversary on January 16.

Caldwells Trail

"Time to go, I'll see you folks"
A wave and he was gone
just like every year before
he never lingered on
Always got right to the point
(no beating around the bush)
Questions answered, terse, direct
but never in a rush
They met him sixteen years ago
While hiking Caldwells Trail
no backpack, tent or dirty boots
And clean down to each nail
You had to like him right away
his warmth would sink right in
He left you feeling good inside
Like knowing you could win
Every June, like clockwork
with jacket in his hand
You'd meet him coming up the trail
He'd wave, or shake your hand
He really "brightened up your day"
As though he brought the sun
Vacations seemed so far apart
He added that much fun
Then one June, he didn't show
The trail seemed almost sad
Vacation over, headed home
Really (kind of glad)
Late-night News in mid July
A "tribute to a man"
One-Hundredth Anniversary
To a Pioneer named "Dan"
Seemed this guy was special
That he'd blazed a mountain trail
Saved lots of folks in winter storms
He also brought the mail
They showed his only photograph
Taken Eighteen-fifty-two
Dan Cauldwells grin, as real as life
Just like it was each June.....

This Ring

I found comfort with this ring,
Peace as I hear my soul sings;
An eternity of song for you and I,
Every time I feel you nearby.

Nothing compares to how much,
I get electrified by a single touch;
Even when you are not around,
You are in this ring to I am bound.

This ring is my profession of our love,
This ring is my protection from above,
I commit to you again as a year's past;
Vow to you and God, assured to last.

...with this ring.

There is pleasure when we trust,
Being together in prayer saved us;
So overblessed for you to be mine,
A rib only God set out for me to find.

The favor of God covers us both,
Through journeys of marital growth;
We are rejoice today without cursory,
Because God gave us an anniversary.

This ring is my profession of our love,
This ring is my protection from above,
I commit to you again as a year's past;
Vow to you and God, assured to last.

...with this ring.

Happy Anniversary.
