I lie bedraggled, disheveled,
scrunched up and crinkled,
in a pile,
like ratty raggedy 
rag doll,
besmirched, 
defiled and exiled,
for being a
spineless, 
limp 
wimp.

Was this a bold  endeavour or worst-case high risk plot?
 In one sense I was caught between two poles apart  concerns.
One must never underestimate indeed trivialise a devilish 
difficult decision.
A decision that may return to  haunt me without recess.

I got no time for slithering snakes
Twisting themselves into different shapes
I just keep my distance until they slither away
