¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ I invite the Moon,

¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦

¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ Moon does not ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ drink,

My shadow ¦¦¦¦¦¦ follows the movement of my body.

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ shadow ¦¦¦ keep me company a while,

The practice of mirth should keep pace with spring.

I start a song and ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦

¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ dance and the shadow moves grotesquely.

¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ let's rejoice with one another,

Premium Member A Leaf in the Woods

A single leaf, adrift on windswept air,
Descends from boughs where summer held its sway,
A vibrant hue, now tinged with autumn's care,
It dances down, to greet the fading day.

It whispers tales of sunlit, leafy green,
Of gentle showers and the robin's song,
A silent witness to the woodland scene,
Where ancient roots have held for ages long.

Now soft it rests upon the mossy ground,
A humble shroud for seasons past and gone,
Yet in its stillness, beauty can be found,
A quiet end, till spring begins anon.

So, let us watch this fragile, falling leaf,
That like human life spins for short while brief.

Premium Member Spring time songs

I walked by the light pink tulip
thinking about life and friendship
When I heard all the songs around,
The chorus of bird's pleasant sound
There's something with the start of Spring
Beginnings and prayers, church bells ring
A chance to do things in new ways,
from lessons learned, unfolding days
Life is like a book of its own
with memories of places flown
Broken trust like a winter branch
Now healing from each avalanche
Refreshing, warm, and beautiful
Songs that lift the heart and fulfill
I learned to look at the moment
Pay attention to the time I spent
Spring time songs, a gift to behold
Gratitude blooms, never gets old

               The Soothing Spirit of Spring

The winter frost retreats before the sun
As greens awake from the slumbering earth
To tell the story of spring now begun.

 Thousands of buds prepare their silent birth
With petals unfolding to catch the light,
 Pervading the air with shimmers of mirth.

Robins hum their song to dispel the night,
 Rivers rumble with water clear and deep,
With all the world immersed in mirthful plight.

Life awakens from its prolonged dark sleep
To plant the seeds of all we hope to find,
 Promising sunshine that summer will keep.

The soothing spirit of spring fills the mind
With ripples of gentle delight entwined.

Spring is coming
I can feel her light
Falling, becoming
Stars glisten at night

Spring is in the air
Healing winter’s bitter
I say a silent prayer
Stunned by her glitter

Spring reminds me
There is precious hope
Whatever may be
His love will help me cope

Spring is writing joy
Through my life
Never quite so coy
As she heals my strife

Spring is the song
That sings her praise
Her praise is never wrong
She knows Him who’ll amaze

Spring is coming soon
And I’m so excited
She pours out her moon
So my soul is delighted

Premium Member There's A River Meandering Through The Mind

It is a beautiful spring day,
birds are singing their little hearts out.
I am rocking in my favorite rocking chair,
as a cool breeze covers me like a blanket.
What could get better than this,
I ask - as I sit and ponder?

"There's a river meandering through the mind,"
with many thoughts.
Thoughts are running wild,
like the river meandering around each rock.
About days of old and how it was,
days that are gone forever.

Guess we cannot get time back,
a river cannot get its water back once it's down stream.
Just like the river meandering away,
we are both stuck here in the present.
Oh how my mind looks to years past,
longing for the good old days.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Crafty moon sends her light, gently nuzzling
Rustling in the winds, songs of peace and praise
Endless dreams swaying, dancing, in full swing
Fairytale wishes fade as starlight prays
Where love sought her kiss, beneath angel’s wings
Rustling in the winds, songs of peace and praise
Hopeful bursts of grace still the swords of kings
Washing away shadows with light that glows
Where love sought her kiss, beneath angel’s wings
Songs of passionate nights stir life that knows
Beautiful tears, kindness, restoring hope
Washing away shadows with light that glows
Melodies in rich rose teach minds to cope
Winter fades into spring’s breathless debut
Beautiful tears, kindness, restoring hope
Nirvana of grace stirs life, all brand-new
Crafty moon sends her light, gently nuzzling
Winter fades into spring’s breathless debut
Endless dreams swaying, dancing, in full swing
