Premium Member Dog Nap

Nine thirty A M both dogs fast asleep
up all night barking and now not a peep
Sassy looks so cute sleeping on her side
Cosmo on his back with legs spread wide
Silly dogs get excited by nightly sounds
always looking for something snooping around
Hear a car door slam or a cat meow
run around barking dogs on the prowl
Tuckered out early good for a morning nap
wake up from noise something to bark at
For most part relax throughout the day
begging for a snack and with each other play
But both dogs actually mellow and at ease
they like their dog naps resting comfortably.

IDLE INVENTORY

I don't mind the counting
The big items that are easy to see
But it's the tiny little buttons
That gets the best of me

I know that taking inventory
Is necessary every now and again
Seeing what you got on the shelf
And what others require for you to bring in

I run a tight ship shape shop
Very aware of what others desire
It may be my building
But you'll never see me playing with fire

No I don't take to snooping
In the business of others
I've got enough to get on with
Taking care of the unmet needs of mothers

...searching for safety

CRAZY SHAME

There they are
In those closed boxes
Evidence of my journey
With steel crosses

Others would publish
And be a hero by now
But me, oh no
I'm a fat cow

...chewing cud

There's a film of shame
Holding the lid tight
Covering the thick ooze
Of my black night

Shall we celebrate
A body escape from hell
When the mind is captured
Where perception dwells

...fractured

Nope, my history is safe
Packed, and permanently sealed
I'll not have others snooping
On the path LOVE healed

It's ugly, sharp, jagged
The telling injures the reader
My trauma is mine
Not a chicken's feeder

...for growth

TRUTH is a be

NOTE: Look up ISBE

My load burdens me

Trying to keep up but the load keeps me sinking, everyday a new struggle arise, my strength fail to keep up, the demand so high, running out of breath, while on my knees trying to pray.

Dismantling blows, from every direction, all aimed at fracturing my spirit, but still hope in the unknown, comforting my struggle. Snooping around for help, where none avails, my hopeless persuit.

Thought Earth was fun to be but mountains in my way, keep escalating, sometimes light in my tunnel run off with my strength, look for objects to lean on but all I have are these blade shoulders of mine, all as casualties from my survival war.

Trying to nurse my faith, the pressure sitting in so strong, breath in my lungs delapitates, beeping sound of my pulse, waving in dissipating sequences. This coffin I was brought to Earth in and today is not yet the day I give in.

All I'm is a child of the soil but this soil try all means to consume the last of my least presence, if dust demand me back, never shall my struggle claim this victory

Don't Start the Revolution Without Me

Start your revolution secretly,
don't tell the priest,
he's a blabber-mouthed gutter-skite.

Don't tell the cat,
for at might he whispers to Alexa,
and she listens always
to the political tenor of your snoring.

Your body must be mechanically sound,
and on speaking terms
with every loose nut in society.

Trust the crazies, they have eyes everywhere.
The banks need you to deposit blood,
as your plasma will be useful
to power your electric doppelganger -
then they can go after your soul

Revolutions need money, mainly for dope and drinks.
No great movement can long survive,
on stale guacamole pilfered from city dumpsters.

Hail to the Chefs at Wendys
who surreptitiously offer cold fries,
to the snooping Feds.

Long live the freedom to carp and cavil,
never surrender your constitutional right
to watch, the 'My Pillow' Man,
revolutionaries need soft pillows,
to dream upon.

Intrusions of Nature

INTRUSIONS OF NATURE

In a cascade of light, like wax that melts,
It strayed, mischievous and free of bounds,
Across her smiling lips, mine eyes did dwell,
Then solace found upon her bosom's mounds.

I pressed kisses on her ankles fair,
And in response, her laughter did abound,
Melodious, sweet, with notes that filled the air,
Like cut glass sparkling, a joyous sound.

Her dainty feet sought refuge in her gown,
As if to say, "No further, I implore."
Yet she relented, allowing love to crown,
Her laughter bearing no reproach, no more.

Her tender eyes danced 'neath my gentle touch,
A caress, delicate, to move her soul,
She cast her head back, mock despair as such,
"Truly, Monsieur," she playfully extolled.

And then, with kiss upon her gentle breast,
I met her challenge, laughter's flame renewed,
That laughter, a sign of consent at best,
She stood, undressed, resolute and shrewd.

Outside, brazen trees leaned 'gainst the glass,
Their leaves intruding, curious, so near,
Snooping upon our intimate repast,
Too close, invading our privacy, I fear.

Have you noticed someone staring at you
And pointing a finger at what you do
But when you look around
There’s nary a sound
Nobody, no person
‘Cept you to be found
As the only starer
Snooping for errors

Have you noticed that someone staring at you
Is the same person that you thought you knew
Though it’s hard to behold
That realizing enfold
Along with the shame
When barraging yourself
And doing the same
To everyone else

Why give yourself that negative attention
When you rate more than honorable mention
For just being you
Not what you do
And let others exist
Just as they please
Which as life’s gift
Is handled with ease

The Tree Moon

The moon hiding
behind the fragmented clouds
right above
on the electric wires
Pointing, Mrs. Jung said
“Would you like to write a poem with?”
As soon as I looked up at the moon
moonlight poured out
When the water jar breaks
like the spreading sound
Our laughters soaked the streets
buried at night
from the side snooping tree
too coming closer
the branches applauded us
with a little wave of wind.

Champion Turned Scorpion

Only Last week with his Holy Bible,
I had to challenge Sam’s loaded pistol,
The whole spectacle indescribable
Thoughts of “Who did in him new thoughts instill?
This could yield cops’ visit and his arrest
Some dark cell his new place of ordered rest
If with it Sam appeared in a luncheon
He would not escape the first truncheon…

Now, I judge him Maverick Champion
With his loaded shot gun A Scorpion,
Though, his being with it might be protective,
To be snooping around him Detective
With possible orders to make shameful
What The Anxious User had thought gainful.

Sleep Damage

In a house I don’t live in
there’s a wife I don’t live with.
It all makes perfect sense,
the pillow is a dream-snatcher
it reveals other people’s dreams.

A movie I watched late at night
turns out to be my life
in black and white,
the 1940’s were big on
unintentional nostalgia.

My head skips out of one fantasy
into another.
Someone is dreaming of me.
Someone is in my mind
is smoking a reeking cigar
opening and closing doors
snooping.

Please don’t smoke in my mind.

The dream guy falls asleep in an easy chair,
The hot ash from the stogie turns to flames.
I am outside my mind now
looking in
as firefighters fight a losing battle.

One again sleep damage
jolts me awake
just to tell me to sleep.

Premium Member Havana Syndrome

is a mass hysteria
induced by the sound
of Indies short-tailed crickets mating,
not, as conspiracy would have it,
the result of a sonic weapon,
a microwave attack,
or malfunctioning eavesdropping equipment.

Likewise, the Sausalito Hum
was not a snooping Russian sub,
or newly laid electric cable.
No, blame the love sick plainfin midshipman,
a simple toadfish sounding off like a foghorn.

Pay no attention to the banshee cry of the lynx,
or to the brush-tail possum sounding off like machinery grinding,
not to puffins like chainsaws,
not to cheetahs chirping,
not to koalas bellowing,
not to ptarmigans chatting like cartoon characters.

Stories of spying and international espionage might be exciting,
but Mother Nature is much more surprising!

The Ignorance of Introspection

"The ignorance of introspection "

You think that you know something about my life?
No!! Not in this same life nor in the next one, for  my life is my life so I live it the best way l know how.
What is said behind my back is none of my business.
Keep snooping you won't find what you seek and that's a shame!
I am busy living my life.

What the hell have you been doing lately?

Premium Member Disarray

Disarray? Me? My house? My family?
Thank you! Yes, we certainly have earned the title, the crown and the sash.
You apparently were let in by one of the carpet chewers?
The watch dog is pretty much a come-in-and-open-the-frig-dog
Furious barking ceases the second a stranger, robber, or lunatic enters the premises.

Disarray? My writing? My painting? My leatherwork?
Thank you! Did you look under the couch too while you were incessantly snooping?
You would have found varmints, toys, a hot glue gun, pot holder, and last year’s Christmas brownie.
Oh, you did not get that far?
Disarray? You have not seen anything.
Let me show you the attic, the basement, the shed, the garage, and my mind.
That is where the real disarray happens.

Insanity runs in my family,
I am proud to admit. Not everyone
can claim this but it would be futile for
us to deny it. The man with the axe?
Grandpa Zeke. He wants the refrigerator
opened too. He and the watch dog are watching
your every move now.
Choose wisely.

Premium Member Takiing Care of the Babysitter

She yanked Sue by the belly,
She pinched Lou on the nose.
She shoved us from the telly
And she trampled on our toes.

She went through the cupboards, snooping
And she stole our paper clips.
But the worst stench was her pooping,
Then she ate our potato chips!

I have had it, I told my siblings.
Go find a long rope, and scissors too.
We dragged her from her scribbling,
And we lost her saddle shoe.

She was screaming like a banshee,
Neighbors ran out to take a selfie
Nothing posed, nothing fancy
Quick shots, lean and healthy.

We marched her to a locust,
In our best friend Marco’s yard.
He ran out to help us,
His brother Beau stood guard.

When our parents returned home
From their little night on the town
They wondered where the babysitter had gone.
Luckily, for us, she was never ever found.
