FINDING BEAUTY IN SIMPLE AND LESS SIGNIFICANT THINGS

If you could find beauty in a piece of chalk,
Others may not find you worth their talk,
But you know that you are the one,
And like you-there are just a few or none.

The beauty cannot be hidden,
It can create a smile in the face of even the bed-ridden,
All you need is to enjoy it,
And find if it is for your appreciation-fit!

Beauty knows no boundaries,
It is innocent and pure,
If you could understand that,
You won't get into anybody's false-lure.

Premium Member SIGNIFICANT

Look at me, I am the same as them.
Eyes like his, eyes like hers, knowing all they see.
Nose wide, skilled, same as his nose, same as her nose.
Ear perfect, hearing all which were taught, from his mouth, from her mouth.
A sharp tongue given to me from her mother, her mother and her mother...
Knowing what was said at birth, listening from the womb.
Look at my hands, same as his hands and her hands.
Same, as they touch the earth from which we come.
Mighty hands, connected to strong shoulders.
Run like the wind, knowing that it will lead you.
Jaded roads, knowing at each turn you were there.
I am significant, same as him, same as her.

Significant Other

Stressed, he asks, yes
I am, knowing that you are the one have me in a mess
How can I be your significant other when you make me feel insignificant than your lover
Significant other? What does it mean?
It's says it's a person who is important to someone's well being
It can also refer to someone with whom someone has a romantic or sexual relationship that is likely to last longer
But with each passing day you leave me astray making our love not much stronger
If you really didn't want to be with me and I'm such a terrible person
Then maybe it's the reason I'm in my head cursin' thinking that one day I'll be rehearsin' my vows, my devotion
I thought I had it set in motion
But in reality, your reality, I'm just your insignificant other
The whole time I've been sitting here thinking that I was your significant other

You’re not too small

Some say they’re insignificant
And too small to make a change
And their size makes them feel timid
To take a step beyond their range
Then consider a tiny mosquito
With its quick dynamic zoom
It can certainly make a difference
For a night in a closed room

Does Your Significant Other Have Borderline Personality Disorder

In shadows cast by fractured minds, a dance,
Borderline whispers, a tumultuous trance.
Emotions veer, a rollercoaster ride,
For those who stand close, by love's sweet side.

A storm within, tempests of the mind,
Identity fractures, elusive to find.
From highs to lows, a relentless ride,
BPD's grip, where emotions collide.

Intense connections, yet fears of abandon,
Chaotic relationships, a heart's wild abandon.
Impulsive acts, a desperate plea,
Affects the ties that bind, one's sympathy.

In this turmoil, empathy must reside,
For those touched by BPD, love is their guide.
Through therapy's art and patience, so kind,
Hope blooms, a healing, for hearts entwined.

Significant Another

My eyes touch your lips and whisper
look - you hear and sit satiated,
flicking through some undeveloped
polaroids you shake frantically.

A silent forest fire blazes
dangerously as you sit coy,
crossing your legs, but I can hear
a clock thud tick tock in the room.

A sudden burst of rain hits the
window panes lustily tonight;
lightening tickles you to the core.
The storm roars a deep, heavy cry.

Now you and I meet eye to eye;
we come together in our frame.
Those photographs don't lie my love,
let's hide our dark, dirty secret.

For the Letter C

One day, just joking around while talking to you
I
said
Your name stood for the letter C

Confident
       Capable
              Cute
                  Caring
Not joking...
You
Are
These
And so much more
To
me

Precious Time

Time is a treasure ,
Significant and Precious .
Time is flowing sand ,
Something we can't hold in hand .

How precious is time ,
To waste it is a crime .
Time is a powerful tool ,
If you misuse it , you are a fool .

An inch of time , is an inch of gold ,
We are always told .
But once you waste it ,
You'll not be able to freely sit .

Given enough time , we will all turn to dust ,
Cars , trains and ships will all rust .
To return to the earth from where they all came ,
With passage of time , nothing remains quite same .

Premium Member Do I Forgive You

Do I forgive you?
What is there to forgive?
Because you burned my new dress and stole a bit of money?
You are my lover after all. What is $5,000 between lovers?

Will I hold a grudge?
Of course not.
We are partners, you and I.
I will forget this has happened in a few lifetimes.

Can we resurrect our relationship?
What relationship?
You did not care enough about me to make me your wife.

Can we be the same?
Sure, honey.
We can be exactly the same.

I will be the semi-trusting woman
whom you take advantage of, and disrespect,
and you can be the cheating, lying, stealing thief that you are.

I will temporarily forgive you tonight, as I have
a new dress, and there is a party, and I need you to
be my good-looking, handsome, wonderful, man candy.

I am carrying a tiny purse though, without my credit cards,
and only a small amount of cash.

In a day or two I may actually forget this anger, but I will probably hold on to a teeny tiny bit of resentment as my bank account is empty, and I had been saving two years for a car.

My Significant Other

My significant other,
to our family
you are a magnificent mother.
You are closer to me
than my sister and my brother.
You're my ray of light
You're my friend and my lover.

And as I lay beside you
in my oh so wakeful state,
I don't want to fall asleep
Because my dreams are not this great.
I pray we'll spend
the rest of our days together
and In my heart my thoughts of you
are green for ever and ever.
