Have no desire to be aware of what you schemed to say
The little time that I may have-you shan't steal away.
Though if you seek some company to share a little peace
You’re welcome here any time, though words you must decrease.

Have no longing for yourself to ramble in my ear
Only wish to hear from you straightforward

I caught a quick peek through the Veil
Where angels guide us without fail
I saw my friends
Were bucking trends
Its "human" race Beyond the Pale!

If my life I could relive
It would be for the best
Better than it has yet been
As if I was born again

But as my life is not yet done
I will keep following the sun
As after daytime I go to sleep
Trying hard to keep the peace

The sound of the dawn chorus 

The waves breaking gently upon the shore 

The rustle of the wind blowing between the trees

The sound of the earth and nature breathing

The sound of peace resonating

Then children playing happily

Followed by the laughter echoing happiness

The sounds of prayers by the blessed

Shush....

Shush Did You Hear That

Shush! My dog ears caution me. Did you hear that? I stop sorting coupons, and listen, hard.
My husband is gone, and there are adult footsteps in my house.
Hypervigilant, I hear the fast increased pounding beats of my fearful heart, a ticking clock, and the blower on the air conditioner.
Sh! My imagination cautions me.  SH!

Mama says “Shush! Do you want to wake everyone?”
Toddler mocks mama shushes every one else;

Grandma says you better hush;

Tom, Dick and Harry all walked in a line
as they wove through the jungle's tall trees,
The sounds from above sent shivers down their spines
but they all felt safe walking in threes.
'Shush...did you hear that?' whispered Tom from the back,
'something snapped in that undergrowth thick',
'Just a tree' said Harry,'with a branch breaking off '

the cries of soldiers who did not come home
the tears running down mothers cheeks

It is the crushing of a child's spirit

Hush now three days yet to past.
My grandmother joy was fulfilled with laughter.
The Christmas spirit was upon us once again.
The tree is surrounded with presents and chorales sing door-to-door.
The occurrence of Christmas would be wonderful.

The cards and letters came in big sacks.
We as adolescents would sneak to read them by ourselves.

peace and quiet tha's all i desire,a village green without a town crier
a tranquil spot a silent idyll,more chance of finding caviar at your local lidl
i get through my door and hope the noise will recede then the kids next door decide to start a stampede
up and down stairs at a thunderous pace,i'm seriously thinking

Shush

World keeps to turn on,
we are born and die,
dawn comes as night ends.
death reigns in all spots
of this poor, old land.


Time takes big paces,
we don't learn parts,
in things that change
the world and life


My minds stuck,
hands are tied,
they are quiet

s/he turns to her/his
significant other whilst
sitting amidst others at
some kind of social function
that for all intent & purpose
has absolutely no intent or
purpose, but to only give
grown adults the sense that
there is some meaning in 
life when deep down they 
all know there isn’t---
when s/he turns, s/he makes
a physical movement unique
to the both of them,
a bit

The armada sailed before my 
eyes, crispy autumn leaves in
the evening breeze. Into  the 
mist of the cooling pool, away
on a voyage of serenity
The watching reeds and sedge
wave farewell, the damsel and
the dragonflies in harmony sang 
their goodbyes.
And the evening crept silently
dragging its cloak and diamond 
skies, over hedge and stile, offers
sleep to this
