Sudden rain
will there be
a rainbow?
Patches of
bright blue sky
peep through clouds
Raindrops cease
petrichor
scent rises
Thoughts spring from the fountain,
A mountain of choices flowing in.
Each a new path to begin,
Possibilities splash back in
Swimming for the chance to win.
Grabbing your attention,
Now choose your dimension,
Rise to your ascension,
The fountain's an extension,
Reaching through expression.
Sprouting in all directions,
Covering every section,
There's no need for correction.
Thoughts create a progression,
The mind creates the dimension,
The eyes creating the projection,
The trajectory has been set,
It's time to experience it,
Spit straight from the source,
A fountain of force,
Comes bursting forth.
Creating another course,
To evolve,
Enforce,
Showering the Universe.
april showers
the thought of winter
washed away
They jump from the earth
silent as the sun’s rising
announcing spring’s new birth
lingering delights, baptizing
Souls who need their smiles
to restore the music’s words
knowing, after so many trials
sun’s breath sings to the birds
They tell of a melancholic tale
preaching to hearts, so still
knowing their love will not fail
as the night’s stars quietly spill
Fading from the green meadows
playing gently on the seas
singing of the One who arose
to reveal love found on my knees
They light up the hearts who melt
when their laughter is poured out,
restoring the hearts who have felt
all the love that ends every doubt
Blessings, these little flowers are
daffodils, jonquils, March’s hope
blowing in the breeze, like a star
revealing ways spring can cope
Never stop seeing the wonder
that comes to life in God’s flowers
while we might hear the thunder
we can still feel the joy in His showers
spring arrives today
a scatter of clouds grey
parisian rains unfurl
winds that twirl and hurl
umbrellas in the air
petticoats fly up with flair
whether each parisian girl
parades for whim or dare

tall shoots lift their vibrant flowers
cheerful in sunshine and showers
erasing shadows of dawn’s mist
revealing the awe in sun kissed
beautiful light falls on the soul
whisper of peace to make one whole
nature’s singing, God does exist
revealing the awe in sun kissed
dreams of light fall across the skies
revealing to hearts how time flies
still, on and on, our life persists
revealing the awe in sun kissed
lovely flowers bloom through it all
even when we can barely crawl
during winter, these are so missed
revealing the awe in sun kissed
"The breeze of March stirred the rain’s whispers, inviting spring’s blossoms."

Showers in March form a lacy curtain,
As clouds bellow in thunderous reply,
Raindrops in Summer bring a joy certain,
Nature dances to the tunes of the sky,
D r i p dripping leaves ~ this world they beautify.
Success paddles forth on a teak-crafted boat,
God’s blessings now shine in a glow to adore.
Your foes only watch as your fortunes take note,
Your blessings now match every sand by the shore.
God made you a beacon of love evermore.
I'll wait for you at sunset
That month on thirteenth day
We'll share a kiss at twilight
And toast along the way
Veuve Clicquot in fluted,
Crystal champagne glass
A sip of golden nectar
To start us on our path
Full Pink Moon to guide us
A focused beam of light
While stars map constellations
In heavens clear and bright
Silver clouds in motion
Adrift across the sky
There's no one else for miles
It's only you and I
A spring-fed lake reflecting
Your lovely face so fair
Halos formed from frosty mist
Cast highlights 'round your hair
Eyes aquamarine, translucent
My heart pierced through and through
Here I am, your troubadour
Forever I'll love you
Showers Are Blessings

A welcome happening for August,
puffy dark clouds giving life to rain.
Turns out to be only spotted showers,
The joy I’m feeling I can’t contain.
No lightening flashes or thunder,
just God’s slow outpouring of love.
I wonder if His creatures understand,
that God sent a drink from above?

“Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.”
—Langston Hughes
Cream of Crop Showers
The world seems smaller, inside within quarters, no sun.
But the yellow wonder is like lightning outside, not done.
Inside there is the brightness of the youngest grand.
Consuming all the rays of sunshine, each grain of sand.
The community park would burn within minutes our skin,
so the schoolager finds friends, swings his arms to win.
The VR helps a bit on closeted days that aren’t cooled by rain.
Those greedy clouds won’t spill their shimmering champagne.
With “cream of crop” showers, I imagine us stomping, making pies
with mud, running through the streets, splashing, loving the rise.
Dare the lightning to strike, we’d grab our swords and fight.
We’d reduce its commotion locomotion to a wee little light.
All wet, with flip flops flying like frisbees into puddles deep.
We’d be like fish, who don’t care if they’re slippery, and leap.
The skies today hold promise, covering over the brightness.
Will the heavens lie to us today or do they hold forthrightness.
Drizzling webs, wanderer’s shelter
Asylum to the nocturnal,
Warring, nomadic spirits, rambling
On gossamer threads, strands so silken
Trembling with soundless lessons….
Sprinkling buds, costly shadows
Silhouettes of bruised flowers, eclipsed,
By the plethora of rain, flowing,
Gentle like the voice of mourning sun,
Pledging to erase the silence of stardust moon…
Showering oaks, walnuts and pine trees
In affectionate kisses, wet like a river,
Risking each tender glance,
Graceful as the Sunday morning hymns,
More psalm than proverb, so still and cool…
Raining droplets of liquid faith, prayers
Prayed by souls who listen,
To the descent of yesterday’s praises,
Whispering through the mist,
Blessing each heart with flavors of melting kisses.
afternoon showers
nature waters her flora ~
picnic was ruined
The sun, a tyrant, reigns with scorching might,
Days bleed together, a suffocating night.
My soul parched, I yearned for a cleansing rain,
To wash away sorrow and ease the sun's pain.
A tremor in the air, a whisper on the breeze,
The clouds gather close, promising sweet release.
The first drops fall, a melody so sweet,
A gentle caress on the parched earth's cracked feet.
The sky erupts, a cathartic release,
Washing away sorrow, granting sweet, cool peace.
The earth drinks deeply, its thirst at last quenched,
With a sigh of relief, the world finally refreshed.
Laughter mingles with the drumming rain,
A joyous celebration, a cleansing refrain.
From my window's perch, a vibrant scene unfolds,
Leaves glistening green, a story yet untold.
A collective sigh, a balm for the weary soul,
Hope blossoms anew, as the storm makes us whole.
For in this downpour, a truth we all see,
We are one with the earth and the creatures that be.
