Showers in March

"The breeze of March stirred the rain’s whispers, inviting spring’s blossoms."
                                                                    ~ Anonymous

Showers in March form a lacy curtain,
As clouds bellow in thunderous reply,
Raindrops in Summer bring a joy certain,
Nature dances to the tunes of the sky,
  D r i p dripping leaves ~ this world they beautify.

Dear Joanna, this quote is beautiful. Whispers of rain are beyond soothing. ' Showers form a lacy curtain. ' I love this image, my sweet friend. It's delicate and elegant, all at the same time. Your thoughts bring a smile. :) Hugs, Brandy

It rained a lot last week and God knows we needed it. March in Malta spells wind, but it so calm now. Lovely poem.

Thank goodness, to see a real quatrain long time! Awesome,Joanna. It seemed that when I’ve first came here five years ago.when I first came here it was more classical poetry now it’s I don’t know ….something else. I heard on Great Britain TV that generation Z hates Shakespeare and Keats.. But loves zany forms..i do not. With classical poetry forms it is more like music and beautiful that is entirely missing out oof Form X’s. (this (opinion was brought to you by Pangie. A crazed poet.
