Fish Butt
Listen to poem:
Basking on the sun-lit ice.
Walrus mumble filled with hype.
Today I haven't a thing to do
(that's nice)
But fish, butt-wipe, butt you....

Ode To the Grammar Nazis
I abhor
Those that feel it’s their chore
To toilet paper my creative door
With their opinions that lack color
I’d rather hear a walrus snore
If not for self expression what’s poetry for

Limerick: Once Chaplin wanted to play Brando

Once Chaplin wanted to play Brando
So he hired a walrus for duo
Walrus refused to shave
Lather’s scent far too grave:
Chaplin played Hitler with moustachio!

Looking to define what does being in love mean?
Overly rated. off with the beer goggles, lanky and lean
Validation, am I the fairest? I need to be seen
Ego like a walrus bloody desperate, stupidly keen....

Guess Who
We were four but now are two
We wrote 100 songs times two
Fields and subs and Rigby too
To sold out crowds we sang bout Jude.
You’re getting close to guessing who
I know you’ll get it with this last clue:
I am the Walrus koo koo kachoo

Limerick : Once a shocking Norseman crowned Viking

Once a shocking Norseman crowned Viking
Took his flaxen men on an ice outing
They lusted for fat Finns
Knocked walrus and dolphins
Why Arctic now with Vi-wal-phins seething.

Walrus
The Walrus, he is an ugly brute,
Made entirely out of rubber,
Lounging on the shore all day,
Like discarded old whale blubber.

Sea Lion on the other hand,
Is arguably, I think quite cute,
Gliding along the beach at play,
In his slick grey leather suit....

Premium Member A Finely Turned Phrase
'Kinetic conundrums,' such a finely turned phrase, or
perchance 'effervescent rhododendrons' -- their glories ablaze
The Beatles' walrus cu-cu-ca-chu'd
                                      Frankie boy scooby-dooby-dooed
I'd finish this poem, but it might come unglued...

Premium Member A Pet For Me
The owl is wise
  The fox clever
The burro stubborn
  The puppy dog never

Cats meow
  Snakes hiss
Cows moo
  Goldfish kiss

Kangas jump
  Eagles soar
Bunnies hop
  A walrus snores

Gerbils are messy
  Who'll clean up
If you buy me a rabbit
I may eat it for sup...

Bear
She says I am a bear this morning
- my hairs bristle,
apparently I’m unbearable.

I tell her I love
park rangers and children,
mention that I am more
an amiable walrus.

She’s not buying
the whole walrus thing.

I follow her to the breakfast table
growling,
black coffee in hand....

Premium Member My Dream Creature
My dream creature was a glorious sight
He kept me warm each and every night
With a walrus face
But he knew his place
And he cozied into it really tight

Some might belittle my alien guy
They might even ask me, why girl, why?
He is ugly sure
But intentions so pure
And man could he ever make me sigh!...

A Walarus Who Was a Blond
A Walrus Who Was a Blond

All of the moments started to get tense

Watching Wilson the Walrus have a rinse

After, his new color he had grown fond;

He was no longer grey and became a blond.

Chuckle, chuckle.

So you fill in the blanks. How do you like

my original idea. Pretty cool, Huh???...

A Loud Report
When, at the annual general meeting
of Walrus Armaments Incorporated
the Chairman, Mr. Carpenter,
reported to shareholders that,
despite the current global turndown,
business was booming
and contributing to world peace,
the applause was thunderous.

 At the buffet afterwards
 the delicious oysters
excited comment....

A penguin on TV
She said she saw a penguin.
Right there on the TV,
But when I looked an albatross,
Was all that I could see.

She said she saw a walrus,
On the living room floor,
But all I saw was an elephant,
Standing at the door.

She said she saw a blunderbuss,
Aiming right at me,
But all I saw was the last thing,
That I did ever see....

Natural Man
Is there a natural man,
The walrus said?
Whose ideas are bright
And feet are not lead?

Who says what he means
And means what he says?
Who is capable of love, an
All of the best?

The prince charming
We long for as children
Come out of the storybook
As is written

Please, come hither, soon,
For life without you
Is like an island on which
You are marooned...

Premium Member Tree Rings
I've watched trees push-out
from soil, the way meteors
reject the planets
and tears from you seep
through the cracks, years
have wasted
the Walrus comes out at
night, their playground I
knew well in my youth
comfort changes shapes,
now it shines purple against
the crater of my soul

Moose ? Geese ?
So with a moose in my closset, and these mice in my ears, you ask me to spy a Walrus ?
So the moose turns into geese and our geese turn to a moose and the walrus turns into a
hundred clams ?
Then ! our new moose stomps the clams until shining silver coats the sand and 1 crying gold
fairy cries a space elf..
The geese eat the silver and fly away gold ducks.. but nothing really changed for them at all....

Media
6 by 15 Watts are blasting,
testing if my ears are lasting.
I turned on the music just for hearing,
but it ripped my clothes off, as if I was dreaming.

50 inches full of colors,
I'm watching TV on a walrus.
But wait, it's not a walrus here,
it's my couch and I'm sitting there.

Media has caught us straight,
caught us, holds us, lets us wait.
Face it, TV has control
of our bodies, hopes and souls....

The Big Rabbit
The big Rabbit
On my way home at twilight and with
a bag of abstract pearls I was stopped
by a giant leporine, it was silky blue but
had fangs like a walrus.
Was it a Cenzon Totochtin or could it be
a Minorcan Lagomorph, a Roly Poly.
Rabbits used to be big in pre-historic time
this one bit the fender of my car
before jumping into the bushes.
Alas, I had no camera, when I told my wife
she didn`t believe me....

My Symbol Face Not For Contest
If looks were death
My face would kill
The mirror tells me this

When I wrinkle a piece of paper
Throw it away I see my face
With eyes as blind as a bat

Hair of a bald eagle
Whats left is gray
Whiskers of a walrus

Under this Elephant nose
That holds up my glasses
With Armadillo hearing

What did you say?
Lips like a Jackass smiling
A neck as a Giraffe

What can I say: It’s just me

(ALL FICTION HONEST GIRLS)...

Bear
She says I am a bear today
- hairs bristle, paws twitch.
I could be a good bear,
but apparently I’m unbearable.

I used to be loved by park rangers
and children.
I danced in the circus,
I composed love-poetry for pandas,
but today the mask is slipping.

I tell her: I am a walrus,
look at my moon-cow eyes -
only a walrus can gawk like that,
but she’s just not buying
the whole walrus thing.

Later like a good bear
I hold out my dish as she says:
dinner is ready....
