Ode To the Grammar Nazis

I abhor
Those that feel it’s their chore
To toilet paper my creative door
With their opinions that lack color
I’d rather hear a walrus snore
If not for self expression what’s poetry for

I am so happy to have been able to read your poetry today Robb. I haven't been able to read much poetry for a few days now. Robb you just write what comes from your heart. That is being true to your poetry and to yourself. If you do as others tell you then it is not you. Just my opinion. Love, Carol

Promise I won't be decorating your "creative door," Robert. Some folks take the grammar and punctuation part of poetry very seriously and that's fine if it is in regard to their own poems. However, you have a right to let your creative flag fly in any direction. That's the beauty of poetry; you can do it your way! Love, carolyn
