As my flip-flops
Cruise the Wal-Mart aisles.
A fast-approaching wind
Drives me in to shop.
I smell the heat-rush
Of the hotdog vendor--
Clothing, mustard and relish.
Carts flash.
Soda crackles.

We laughed together holding hands
The sea beckoned us to the shoreline
As the sun melted into the sea at day's end

the movement of the masses,

system that guides us,

A day in the life.
But, what do we live for?...

They go hand in hand like grass and trees and ducks and ponds
I kept going back to take one more peek
Just buy it! My girlfriend urged me.
I truly did want it, but I had already bought so much for myself.
You deserve it! My inner voice said. I went back for the sixth time.
I could take fifty cents off, the vendor said.
