it's beacon interacts vigorously 
as vessel realigns, manoeuvring
past many obstacles undistinguished 
by any obvious visionary.

There is magic in a midnight swim; 
Permeating the air I taste sea spray,
you can hear an echo of a hymn;

Glittering undercurrents convey 
a conch holding the ocean’s sound; 
Rippling waters of mermaid decay;  

Shells like a song cover the ground; 
Under the Moon a siren wails 
reflecting the souls of ships drowned; 

The water glistens with star trails
divination is in the smallest details....

I dream of making love
to people I do not like.

She is brittle, cold. We hate to meet,
always a discomfort in the pit of the stomach
at her approach.  

On a moon-soaked improbable beach;
we are lovers waiting for the surf.
when the ocean arrives, 
we swirl into each other
like melding tide-pools.

My ex-wife settles into my bed,
kisses me on the cheek.
I drape an arm around her
already aroused.

For a while we dream 
through the same window....

Battering battering my fragile ports
Steady flow of tidal constance
Fluid life and yet 
I drown silently
A water sogged pillar
I steady the pier and hold true
Against the undercurrents and crashing waves
Briney depths beckon and call
Shifting drifting sandy murk
Dances at my feet
Upturned, my face to the sun
But that is not my place
Shadowy cool caressing fingers
Urge me downward
For the waves are my lullaby and 
They call me home...

With a soft
regalia of steps
but she sprinkled scantily on me

But I was 
aroused, flushed and reddened.
Enjoying her warm and soft impact

became a cataract

As Hollywood
Casts its rectangular light,
A lighthouse without rotation
That warns no-one
As our ships are bashed
Against the rocks,
Sharp, jagged rocks
Of protruding buttresses
And ledges
In our fall down the shaft
To the center of the earth
To Tartarus
We silently applaud
As we enjoy,
As we are moved,
As the swell of the surf
Under our wooden ship
Washes us
With deep and deathly undercurrents
To ultimate doom
Against the rocks,
The jagged rocks,
Of this world....

Oh come tide wash over me, this agnostic has no role 
      Take me under ice cold brine, feed electric eels my soul
     Eat away, charge these eyes, i’ll light up unknown shoals
    Shock me back upon life again, euthanised within charcoal 
   In time a diamond will form, when compression takes its toll 
  Precious I wait until I’m found, come creation make me whole
