Dreams gallop up the mountains
ascending like a wild spirit set free.
Meanwhile we step onto the path,
trepidation up to our knees.

The onset of fear and trepidation
Spawned by ominous imagination
Is quelled through daily meditation
And the strength of love and inspiration
Mind races endlessly
Need decision now
Only one direction possible
Possibilities endless
Quorum of the mind, heart, soul, and gut is hung on the moment.
I opened the mail with trepidation
Reading the words with great hesitation
Stunned at the message
My life a wreckage
She’d wed another–humiliation.

Have a blessed birthday, Shirley,
Horror film brings agitation;
The movie's story is scary,
Causing fright and trepidation.

The pulse
Throbbing pounding
Feelings of entrapment
Fear worry angst trepidation
Great pain
Breathless elation ecstasy
Passion freedom amour
Tender secure
Painless
My friend is shy, ‘cause we call her ‘Pumpkin’.
With great trepidation, she enters the gym
A look at her behind;
And the instructor declined.
“By the time ‘YOU’ are thin, fat will be ‘IN’”
Twitch, twitch - noses in constant action
Hop, pause, hop - bodies in flight preparation
Stand, timidly posed - awaiting in anticipation
Sniff, nuzzle - bunnies interacting with trepidation
Adversaries are none
When trepidation emerges
Rhetoric voices undone
Temper surges
Contrive modes of destruction
Follows continuous bashing
Unequivocal construction
Without talk trashing
Her
echo
seeking hope.
Lush sensual
dreams fill her abode.
Her constitution strong,
a dissociation from
her days of fear and trepidation.
The lioness within her is her pride.
Spoke of, as tiptoed through
With trepidation.
"Each fierce life-shaping clue
Throws a possessed look!"
In fables, darkest read.
Darkest of routing
In, out, bamboozling led
None creepier spook.
When I die from Anxiety
I hope Serenity, will revive my Telepathy
And together in Trepidation,
The Free-will of Temptation
Will rejoin with my Sonic Sensations
And bring forth Light,
Bright But Understanding

CINQUAIN
when the night bleeds
and harbors trepidation
I reach for you
my light
to shepherd away the fear
to engulf me in your inner beauty
enveloped in every heartfelt kiss
and maybe for just one minute
the world might seem alright
A whirlwind of emotions
A cyclone of wandering thoughts
A tempest of trepidation
That leaves me baffled and distraught
The devastation of my battling mind
Wreaks havoc in the soul's sacred shrine.
On my job, every December was
faced with cautious trepidation.
In heavy fog, others kept passing me.
From valley to Bay, fog was blinding.
It was safer to follow big rigs
With eyes glued to their tail lights.
Alone
Suffocating in solitude
Drowning in dark despair
Languishing longingly in lost love
Forever in fear of fallings fatal flaws
Bent, broken, battered and bruised
Tired of timid trepidation
Complacent and content
Alone
Form:
Lurking around each corner
Waiting to blanket
Hopes
Dreams
Desires
Ready to squander
Love
Goals
Lust
Reckless and ruthless
Heed those days of yore
Always at hand

Chills silvering down my spine
Cold sweat down my forehead
Trepidation coercing through my limbs
Teeth shivering; skin crawling
Pure unadulterated fear;
And then with great force
And beautiful agility
My husband
steps
On the little
spider!
My wife read Fifty Shades last week
It’s gone right to ‘er ‘ead
Now I lies in trepidation
Every time I goes to bed
Just yesterday she came in nude
And chained me up, real tight
She snapped the lock, put on her frock
Then buggered off all night
In the most anguished moments of my life
times when my mistakes cause me strife
I feel I deserve a birch wood beating
to go unpunished would be cheating
and then I recall
that through it all
with trepidation loomin'
I am only human
The tick tock of the clock
Never stops
In quiet trepidation
My heart doesn't beat, it knocks
Insomniac and mind tripping
I see my life slipping
I want to breathe in air
Never again be scared
But the only thing that clings to me
Is constant worry and despair
In the most anguished moments of my life
times when my mistakes cause me strife
I feel I deserve a birch wood beating
to go unpunished would be cheating
and then I recall
that through it all
with trepidation loomin'
I am only human
Each May begins in trepidation
To darker grow each passing day.
My birth month never brings elation.
Each May begins, in trepidation
I move forth in protestation,
One more year to fade away.
Each May begins in trepidation
To darker grow each passing day...
