The wind in my hair does rearrange

Pity you never saw me
unable to take my eyes off of you,
We were one hell of a love poem;
You don’t deserve my words.
there's only five lines
and thirty-one syllables...
is it possible
when composing a tanka
to just say nothing at all?
so much behind us -
may the next thirty-five years. . .
go slow and easy!
For LInda- Marie's "Voicing Vows" Contest
I will have to start it all new
At thirty two, at thirty two,
Selection process isn't due
Til you decide that it is due.
Leather hide-wild eye
What should I do
Blackened mind
Borrowed time
Trading pieces
Of myself
For thirty silver coins
autumn in full swing
Christmas being overswung
a big retail axe
gashing pocketbooks early
will pause on the thirty first
Distant thunder roars.
Another thirty minutes,
All scout boats grounded.
Caleb, Caleb cutie cream pie
Couldn't keep one candy handy
Sweet tooth times a thirty pearlies
Became loose-y goosey gummy
A ROOM OF HER OWN
Byron died at thirty six
Prolific poet’s work was done
Lucky I am still alive
I had no time ‘til fifty one.
Barbados breezes
wafting through the treezes.
No chance of sneezes or freezes.
Thirty degrees is
too d**n hot by jeezus!
Loves control through Fear
Variant spouse-righteous blame
flat liner heart waves
thirty and four-lorn strangers
where does the time go
Modigliani a brief life but intense
TB was to be his prophetic sense
Death coming to him at thirty-five
his giftings dead&no more alive
Well now I've gone and done it again
Another math test was failed by me
If I had a nickel for each one,
I'd have a dollar thirty three!
poor ole paddy has the big head
because of twelve thirty one he said
had too many drinks
passed out he thinks
glad he woke up not dead
You got thirty-five minutes to cry
As this bus rides by houses you see.
You got thirty-five minutes to dry
Your eyes, as you silently cry…
A Smidgen 2
Haiku: by Tom

A smidgen of salt;
one thirty second teaspoon,
or, just half a pinch.
SCHOOL
college
graduate
my journey began
thirty years earlier
finishing with tears of pride
"somewhere your dream is still waiting"
Amazing the feeling, being in love!!
After so long, thirty years,
Pregnant?? Here come the tears......

Evil number Thirty-three
Will chill you with toxicity.
Six feet, neath root of tree.
Though it reeks, Complicity
Wicked, Evil, Thirty-Three.
Whatever goes with white...
Snowing for thirty hours straight
The sun sure doesn't go with white
It knows its place and goes away
There are flavors from strawberry cheesecake to sarsaparilla.
Thirty-one different kinds of ice cream, and you want vanilla?
I have a pain in my tooth.
But the dentist is somewhat aloof.
“The clinic is dirty,
don’t come ‘til two thirty”.
It already is, that’s the truth!
Scratched, though a perfect match
To the scuffed, cabinet at home
Cost only thirty nine dollars
Well worth that price, to help organize our chaos.
I didn’t mean to stub my toe
At two I cry
At fifteen I swear
At twenty one I don’t even notice
At thirty two I wake up in a jail cell
At forty? WTF
