The Honeymoon
The honey moon[Alliteration]

Tobi takes Tope to Thailand in a top class Train,
which makes Mike to marry Michelle
in Cynthia`s crystalline church,
This baffles Becky Baker but,
Propels Peter Parker to pick a powerful package....

Sad Detritus It In Eight
Sad Detritus It In Eight

Sam Adams looked back
at the lost loves
Failed opportunities
And monolithic blues
That he concluded
Was the sad detritus of his life.
He sighed and went out
To the Cosmos bar for another drink....

Oh My Goodness
“It’s a boy!”

A day which will live long in the memory;
Such emotions as I have never experienced!
My whole life turned upside down

In that moment that we met,
I knew that I would never be the same,

Nor would I *ever return to Thailand ......

Premium Member Dragon Temple In Thailand
We were thrilled with the idea of sometime going to Thailand
And seeing the Dragon Temple at the top of the pretty Asian land.
Winding itself around the roof is a giant dragon with fire in his eyes.
We can hardly imagine how terrorizing this is in morning’s sunrise....

Medical Miracles
MEDICAL MIRACLES

What happened to mad cow disease?
And bird flu from Thailand? I ask myself.
Legionnaire’s disease? Minimata? E - coli ?

Did they succumb to medical expertise?
Or just disappear from the current-panic shelf?
Will you survive the next wave? Will I ?...

Yingluck, Yingluck
Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, good duck
Good luck, dead duck
Yingluck, Yingluck.

Helen of Thailand,
You launched thousand foes,
Your sorroral defenses
Of Thaksin
Was a sin, is a sin
Unkennelling jaundiced protesters
Causing you a premier ruin.
Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, dead duck!...

Jim Horn

Do not know why but Trump

of water under the table that
they both were sitting at. He
had called Thailand Thighland

How about that?...

HELL OF THAILAND

two men beat their chests
contest of very hot spice
the hell of Thailand

first man’s sweat pours out
a linen napkin’s laughing
vainglorious plight

eyes of number two
tears streaming grow big and sting
vein-bulge vanity

admiring friends
cheer and jibe in kodachrome
racing pulse of weak

Untitled
Trapped in a black hole state that's shrouded in a cloud of depression, addiction, and self obsession. Hardly nobody here is real anymore. I want to live off the land in the mountains, see the jungles of Thailand, but I'm here; in this place, and there is no real escape. Forever destined to slowly die from the inside out in these backwards hills....

Children fell asleep

Heavenly the dreams they had--

In death's land awoke!

    08 October 2022

Last Thursday, at a daycare center in northeastern Thailand, a former police officer killed thirty-seven people of whom twenty-five were young children, some as young as two years of age.
I dedicate this Senryu to their memory!...

Starving children die

Peacefully the greedy sleep

Humanity's shame!*

© Demetrios Trifiatis
         10 July 2018

* According to UNICEF more than 15.000 children die each day because of starvation!
If only humanity showed the same compassion as in the case of the trapped in the cave of Thailand children, we certainly would have a much better world....

No Selfie Dear, Elfie
No Selfie Dear…an Elfie

Students in Thailand stood in front,
They clicked, clicked and clicked many a selfie;
Standing behind, the elephant posed,
Posed and posed silently for many a selfie.
They tired him and his stretched trunk
Got no fruits or eatables; they were for only selfie.
The big friend’s hungry eyes their tab eyed
To eat, but on touch, the screen gave out an ‘elfie’!...

Land of the Free (Base)
Thailand,
Or Kensington?
Tinfoil from a Kit-Kat,
Tells you that there’s no difference,
Outside,

Cocaine,
Ammonia,
Old Martell miniature,
A Bic lighter; a mound of ash,
Bangkok?

Fly south
Like Garuda,
Drift off to Koh Samui,
A Beach house, Or Council estate?
Who cares?

Wake up,
Burnt down candles,
Landlord on the doorstep
‘Last weeks rent?’ ‘Giro on Thursday…
…Get lost…’...
