The Flying Wheel

The flying wheel spins,
screams of kids terrify me,
I hope they are fine

I hope they are fine
with hair sticking out like wheat,
" Stop that flying wheel! " I scream.

Plundered Homes

Nightfall scares us,
Danger lurks around,
Our shadows terrify us,
Evil is cloaked in the night,
Our courage is threadbare,
We are sinking ships.

my biggest animal fear

Some people are afraid of mice and snakes
They do not scare me; they do not scare me!
Creatures who terrify me and give me the shakes
Horses, my nemesis, giant beasts who are my enemy.
I have never fallen off of a mouse or a snake.

Unhappy Hour

You get a ghost inside the house
And all they do is groan
They terrify your kids and spouse
Complain a lot and moan
“Oh woe is me” their mournful cry
From dusk until the dawn
If they could give my life a try
They’d wish they’d not been born

Mr Angry Bark

Mr. Angry Bark, your eyes terrify us.
Your mouth so distorted, your ambiance scary.
You are rough and harsh; I steer away from you always.
Glooming the corner of the yard where you stand frowning.
You frighten us with your beady dark irritated eyes.
Lunch tomorrow? I don’t see why not.
I will bring a picnic.

Worlds Demise

Time ticks by there's no time to cry You can only turn a blind eye The world is ready to horrify And I wont stick around to say goodbye While I solidify You try to justify these actions that terrify It will petrify and mummify They wont mystify or mollify As you just stand there stultified

Thomas Paine -An Englishman

Thomas Paine - an
Englishman

Maybe the best
American

Long and well before
all the fat folks
who live there now

Spoke of national
institutions
of churches whether
jewish christian or
muslim or other
nonsense

Schemes seeming to
him be no more than
human inventions,
set up to terrify
and enslave mankind
to monopolize for
power

Mask-

wearer of the mask
so covered to hide yourself
peek-a-boo disguise

covers up my face
to amuse or terrify
hides my eyes and face

as an art form so
covers of my entire head
fits over nose/mouth

mask covers me so
to protect me from disease
some mask watch me breathe

Tripple Tripple

Double Cup my Tripple Tripple
And don't stir in a milk
Sugars 3 and creamer 4
I'd like to make a stilk

Horny steamered fattened slupe
Hands a clamoured cloupe
Barion blatter to uncouth
Bairked of plaiten mineral sluth

Made for ware on tathiered tooth
Closht decay on perished truth
Smiling draught to terrify
What all left gawking stare at WHY?

They

Just because we can't see them
Doesn’t mean they aren’t here
Scary isn't it?
Knowing they are watching
Coming and going as they please
Moving with ease between our two worlds
Not only are they smarter than we are
but they're stronger
and faster
They tease us, toy with us
They terrify us
They could destroy us all
They don't though
Because they need us
We are their prey

Terrified of Medications

I am scared of medications
They terrify me
because of the effects
they have on me

They rarely do what
is expected,
and almost never do
what they do for others,
for me

Because I have the
dubious talent of
not reacting to
medications in
expected
or usual
ways

Pills that
knock three hundred
pound men out for
seventeen hours
keep me wide awake
for seventy-two hours.

Morbid Screams

Terrify my existing smile with cynical
illusions.
Vilify resisting my vile physical life into
ruins.
Paralyze conflicting denial of my mental
delusions.
Ashamed I wither in sadness
whispers.
Remained bitter & madness
triggers.
Blamed a quitter so callous it
hinders.
Deranged & I see horrid
scenes.
Unexplained & it was me in distorted
dreams.
Feigned & free my Morbid
Screams.

American Bauhaus

Surrounded by peeling wallpaper
it’s a picture of provocation;
These holes tended to terrify her.

Spots that need so much renovation
must be rebuilt right down to the core;
There’s happiness in new construction.

You’ve got an idea what’s in store,
once the soul is restored to this house;
An antique knob attached to the door.

Enough beauty to instantly rouse
a blend called American Bauhaus.

Halloween Night

Goblins, ghouls, and monsters too,
walk this night to terrify you.

They creep, they crawl,
leaving blood trails on the wall.

Twisting, slithering,
with bodies slowly withering.

Hungry for flesh--
preferably young and fresh.

So lock the doors, turn off the light,
pull the bedcovers tight tonight.

And pray you’re not the one they keep
now that Halloween haunts your sleep.

Far From Fear

In uneasy years
   everything seems threatening
The walls can't drown out
   the sounds which terrify us
Let us move far from fear
   We need strength to
conquer the demons within ang without
We must lift up our eyes
see the sun and clouds above
Hope ane pray that there is
a power that preserves
We are in a small boat
   in turbulent waters
With faith as our guide
Our small ship heades towards home

The Muse's Lament

You electrify me,
you terrify me,
you invigorate me,
you slowly drain me;
All of my practical thoughts,
you replace them
with your philisophical quotes;
It scares me the way
you can read me,
but what
petrifys me is the way
I can still read you;
You will never admit it
and neither will I,
I don't want to
make sense of it
and you won't even try;
What good is it to leave us
an incomplete sentence?
What good is a muse
without a poet?

Darkness At Noon

Tousling the opulence was
not modesty.
Who will adore the clan ?

I am not yet ‘me’,
the refuge of elevated moon.
The heat and dust of nascent money

was burning like a loud prayer
in dark sun. Perfection tends
to terrify the stings.

A mogul of arts outlines the
script of drowning a desert storm,
when two flames went to bed.

Do not pick up the nails for
the coffin of a martyr.
They are going to make a dirty bomb.

Motorcyclists Terrify Me

Motorcyclists terrify me
I fear they will fly off the road
Who will stop to help?
Will we all keep whizzing by?

Every motorcyclist is someone’s baby
Someone’s grandchild, someone’s love
On the interstate where no one is careful, I cringe.
Terrified the rider is going to be maimed or killed

I say a prayer when I see a motorcyclist heading my way.
I try never to pass him or her.
Hoping not to see them again
Lying next to the road or worse.

Eternal Existence

My heart is grim
Depression at its finest
My soul immortal
All souls immortal
Excitement arises within
Positivity surfaces from the depths of darkness
The gate I have locked shall open once more

Immortality brings happiness to my mind body and soul
My brother and I will meet again
Death does not terrify me
The notion of spending all of eternity with my brother brings light to my life
I sit and smile
The belief in immortality dries my tears

It Is Shared Out

A dog's job is to foes terrify,
Actors of scary films horrify,
The police a rogue identify,
Insurance firms one indemnify...

Science would laymen's claims verify,
Panels rigged elections nullify,
Microscopes to microbes magnify,
Deodorants to bad air purify.

Witnesses in courts to testify,
A counsel to trial judge mollify,
Big stereos to music amplify;
Flowers one's surroundings beautify...

The Angels Lord God glorify,
Nudists the public mortify!

witch on the payroll

We have a witch on the payroll the police chief said.
She scares and intimidates me, fills me with dread.
Why do we pay for that? I asked, is there better use of my money?
Perhaps said the chief, but although she is never sunny….

She has cracked some murder cases none of us could figure out.
She brings her familiar, a black cat named “gad-a-bout”.
Together they are a formidable pair, but one thing I guess.
They both terrify me, I have to admit and confess.

Danse Macabre

Bite the bullet brave voyagers of war's wailing screams and cries
which terrify not few fighters that tremble not at new nightmares dreamt in somber tents.
The circus invokes its skull clients to its danse macabre.
Behold the skull's countenance contemplating thy face,
seeking to crown thee some forlorn day.
I will dance upon the fields of thy grave,
I will smile at your progeny,and take to wife thine daughter;
And together we shall partake in life's debauchery.
