Going Halloween Haiku Crazy
howling through tombstones
winds evoke resurrection
spirits of those passed
‘neath the orange moon
cackling heard above the gale
witch flies through dark skies
bats make their descent
terrify trick or treaters
candy corn scattered
good, bad and ugly
creatures of All Hallows Eve
prance ‘cross leaf-strewn lawns
