Peace and harmony,
Slowly floating on a pond;
The love of swans.
I wish I could swim with them.
I wish I could stay longer.
Apollo en garde,
my prose to re-verse
Where Swans freely sing

Swans
graceful, silent
gliding, bowing, drifting
feather, water, light, sky
shimmering, circling, returning
ancient, eternal
Lake
S-hooks upon the lake,
Swimming swans gracing water
With their presence in June.
A stage of
Graceful performers
In a ballet.
some said she is beautiful
She remains ugly in her mind
her mother said so
i am ugly too said black swan
they shared identical mothers,
thus, same self-talk
Stately in form and poise,
Swimming, so beautiful,
So magnificently
She moves, without effort,
Soft feathers gleaming white,
Serene in the sunset.
Stunning all who see her.
Slowly floating down the
stream, the waterfowl glides
seamlessly along the
surface of the lake, its
soft, silky plumage, and
slender form, gracefully
sailing into the sun.
Symbols of purity
synonymous with love,
swans are monogamous.
Selective pairs dip heads
silently conversing;
swimming in perfect sync,
signifying their bond.
swans swim silently
gliding on pellucid pond
sun peeks through grey clouds
mute swans paired for life
seven cygnets swim close by ~
the circle of life
Smart with their slender necks
Swim and stay mostly in
Serene settled water
Sublime stance paid as they
Stand for grace and beauty
Scaffold sky and sea;they
Sever milk and water
singing
oriental songs that
capture
popular imagination.
Drinking cocoa along
the Yodo and
Osaka is far away.
The bullet train is real
it's the pain you feel
that may not be.
Serene lake frames cobalt,
Stirred by rolling ripples.
Shadows of autumn cloud
Sense the swings of white wings.
Soaring ivory fleet
Slowly descends to turn
Suddenly to spry swans.
upon a black pond
the chatter of stars
flashing the outer banks
the arrows of Mars
keep silent 'til morning
when stars search for sleep
then scatter the sky
with a white veil of peace
Listen to poem:
Swans steam across the lake.
Streaming in, heads held high.
Strung out in single file.
Stippling surface with wakes.
Signaling flock to join.
Sensing storm clouds brewing,
Shuddering storm ahead.
a lone swan
gliding on the lake.
what will become of me
when she is gone?
Swans
Shimmering in the sun,
silky skin glides pale ponds.
Secrets spoken to ears,
salty tears leave frail eyes.
Soft air swirls the boat’s sails.
Serene pictures of us,
slumbering at faint dusk.
Swans float on the park pond,
serene, quiet, graceful,
sipping the clear water.
Sun glistens on trees as
scents of autumn drift with
scenes of swans to view; oh
sweet blessed October day !
Swimming across the lake,
svelte swans, they're gliding by,
S-shaped necks meet and greet,
Sweet romancing duo's
slender necks form cute heart.
Stay forever lifemates ~
Symbol of loyal love.
their dainty thin necks
seen easily from the ground
two delicate swans
theyre built for flying
enhancing farmers lagoon
showing off their truth
where are they going
both of them are out of sight
i will remember
So beautiful like a dream,
Migration from place to place,
Like a person searching for love.
But like people when their live are tangled,
They end up in unusual places.
But they will always go back to where they came from.
Form:
Swans glide on water
Elegant graceful lovers
Float to other
Swans mate forever
Greeting caressing lovers
Touch slightly linger
(Inspiration from John Denver's song "A Song For All Lovers" and Daystar TV Worship Videos)
Imagine if us humans had long necks like swans
We could look into upper floor windows and scan
Search for interesting stuff
Like young fillies in the buff
Now why would we want to, cept to check out their tan
Imagine if us humans had long necks like swans
We could look into upper floor windows and scan
Search for interesting stuff
Like young fillies in the buff
Now why would we want to 'cept to check out their tan
The swans
Calm, majestic
Proud and free
The white swans glide
On the inland sea.
Cob and Pen
With necks inclined
Guard their young
As food they find.
The darker cygnets
Paddle free,
Majestic creatures
Of the inland sea.
