Beautiful. I didn't know swans mated for life. Maybe I know it and just don't know I do. Tim and I once lived with swans in the lake behind our apartment. Beautiful in water, they can look rather awkward when walking or pecking at their reflection in someone's car door (I had a good laugh over that.) I enjoyed the tranquil vibe and content in your Haikus. CayCay
