Her Voice It Sooths

Her voice it sooths
My untimely midlife blues
So far behind in
Keeping up with the Kardashians
It just seems
Reckless to talk about it
As her laughter ensues
All my life she renews

Summer Vacation

unique island calm
pink beaches of hawaii
water sooths my soul

spicy restaurant
warm and tasty fajitas
honeymoon delight

ice cold budweiser
hard baseball at wrigley field,
summer vacation

Pain

Pain is all encompassing
Destroying soul
Eating away insides
The mind...

Music drowns pain
Sooths the brain
Music sooths the soul
Heals thee

Release the pain
Open the chains
Let the music flow
Be free

Eyeball Soup

Eyeball soup. Wonderfully tasting.
Deliciously made, sweet and pasty.
Cinnamon-seasoned, also some thyme.
Vegetable laden, scrumptious and fine.
Fisheyes are best, but goats are good too.
Nothing sooths me like warm eyeball soup.

Fire Flood

this hollow place,
i fill with pain,
when hollow floods,
i drink the rain,

cool and clear,
it sooths the burn,
and bottles my heart,
inside this urn,

i feel no need,
to seek a way out,
they'll bottle me up again,
without a doubt.

Safe Splendor

quenching storm
    upon my skin
      traces

  sweet pleasing path
    for my body lay
      safe splendor

  of its
    live music
      sensation flow

  steady and soft
    sooths my heart

      bliss unspoilt

Leaf

LEAF
                         Rustling
                     Wind blowing

              The Winnowing Winds
            Making the leaves rustle
Close your eyes to enjoy it's voice

"Leaves rustle, wind blows, it sooths me."

Renewal

When the heaven’s cry,
it sooths my soul.
The quiet sound,
beating down,
brings a calm stillness to my heart,
And natural life to landscape.
It rejuvenates my mind,
Bringing colour to it.
Much like the now green grass
And red tulips.
Two lips,
Relaxed.
Reciting,
Insightful & hopeful words
of renewal.

Make My Lonely Desert Bloom Again

To see your face again
Is like seeing the warm radiant sun
After a long dark cold lonely winter
To hold you in my arms again
Sooths and heals my brioken heart
Since you went away
My life had become an empty arrid desert
But now your here
Please make my lonely desert
Bloom again.

My Joy

my little little girl
you fill my world
with rainbows and ponies

having you around
making your sounds
sooths my soul and comforts me

you play with your toys
with so little noise
i have to look around

thank God your still there
your my every care
by you i am spellbound

On the Pier

The sweet smell of salt air
Sooths a difficult day
Gazing far and away
At the pier's end

Sitting dangling my feet
I breathe deep of the sea
The gulls calling to me
Noise fades away

Sun slips beyond my sight
Painting with hues of pink
Of such beauty I drink
Thoughts turn to you

Remembering How It All Began

Awaiting the beauty of sun rise

In the redness of the dusk

Given to silence of the dawn

With thoughts breezing through my mind

Remembering, how it all began

How I rode on the streets of loneliness

Seeking a hand that would cover me

Thirsting for a heart that sooths my fears

Then your chamber became my abode

Remembering, how this love began

Red

It sounds warm
Framed in dust
Weak
Paved in rust
But still sooths the anchor
Claims the difference
While raging an instance
Beneath the tree of life
Red is eye-catching
Red is said to be
The colour of love
Red is Fierce yet delicate
Red is clean on a clear mind
Red is just red without
A matter of distinction
Red is you!

A Winter Day By the Sea

On a winter's day by the sea,
Endless blue skies to see.
Rays of the sun, gentle and kind,
Foamy waves, a rhythmic grind.
Soft, wet sand with footstep traces,
Unspoken tales of varied faces.
Seagulls watch, pelicans glide,
Ocean’s beauty surrounds the site.
Satisfying warmth in a lovely stroll,
Oceanaire’s chilly embrace sooths the soul.

Beauty of Nature

The sun was setting
The breeze grew stronger
Hustling and bustling of people began
Animals rushed in-doors

Splashes of color
Entwine with night
Black engulfs all
As the shatter of glass echoes

Midnight skies
To dark to see
The purple branches appear
Sounds of bull whips not far behind

The sky lightens
A warm glow sooths all
The calm of the world
Has yet appeared agian.

Our Love

Feeling like I've made mistakes
Like I'm breaking us apart
But our love is so strong
It never leaves the heart

It seems we argue more
In the past couple days
And everytime it's over
We're back to our usual ways

You kiss my lips
And hold my hand
And everytime
I still turn to sand

I'm sitting here crying
But I am starting to heal
Your touch is what sooths me
It's all i want to feel

Red Rose

Red rose Red rose
Which is a sweet scent to the nose
So soft and smooth
It makes my heart move
Red rose Red rose
Which makes a good pose
That I like to hold
Red rose Red rose
Which the wind blows
As each day goes
Red rose Red rose
Which can tickle the toes
Red rose Red rose
Which grows and grows
It's my favorite kind
That it sooths the mind
Red rose Red rose
That it helps sooth my soul

Important of Music In Our Lifes

Important of music in or lifes
Helps sooths termoils of daily strifes

Flow and temple of boasted notes
Rythem and rhyme that continues to float

A song from an lonesome heart
Ignited by an passionate start

Fantasy of wanting to belong
In or named in just one song

Spirits can be held on high
And can almost make you cry

So tread on your walk of life
And enjoy the melody that cuts like a knife

At Last My Face Begins To Rest

at last my face begins to rest
at last my feet are curled
warming on the soft plush carpet
fire for heat
    and light giving character
    in shadows and
        light darknesses
thoughts of the days happenings
fly like sparks
memories of a day adrift
    lazily stream into darkness
    night’s relaxing sooths
    full with sunset’s ease
    the books I’ve never written
fall from the stars to me

Rambling Through

I amble forward, aimlessly,
even going backward travels me.
I come from no direction,
to wherever.

Rambling through a late evening,
darkness seeping into my opening mind.
A comforting thoughtless twilight
that blends me
into a nether world
the way a mother sooths and enfolds.

The world can change its reality
at this time of day,
and you can be that change.

Night lights me from within
and a path finds itself
as a walking man.
