My Joy

my little little girl
you fill my world
with rainbows and ponies

having you around
making your sounds
sooths my soul and comforts me

you play with your toys
with so little noise
i have to look around

thank God your still there
your my every care
by you i am spellbound

(For Erleena, Ashley, Yasmin and my baby sister)

excellent...love to look at the world through the eyes of a beautiful child. They all are and have the ability to grab your heart

I love the way you describe these children. They can bring so much joy to our lives, T.S., though I was not blessed with them. To answer your question, I was born and raised Catholic although I consider myself more spiritual than religious. I do believe we see our loved ones again on the other side. Thanks for your comments. I smiled the entire time I read this lovely poem. Love, Carolyn
