What is the nature
of a confident heart
shrouded by insecurity....
Wandering into
Mist-shrouded, cavernous rooms.
Gliding past ghostly
Mirrors. Choking on Pages
Of a Faded Existence.
Fog in the morning
Shrouding the telephone pole
Across the still street
The mysteries of the world
Shrouded in my ignorance
Eyes shrouded how bright the sky burns tonight summers dying show

Did not place
we sense spirit indwelling form
whose light is shrouded by ego
it should not be as such yet it is
until fears and desires we let go
Epigram #114:
HIDDEN
Sense in bad a hidden good
Know in sad a shrouded mood

Topic: Birthday of Mae Omaya (March 28)
Form: Haikustic
The fog hangs low at dusk
orange light creeps it's way along the fields
smoke plumes drift up into the shrouded sky
and we walk along the lanes.
We were shrouded in silence,
except for the breath of snow,
watching a world disappear,
left with only stars to hold
Shrouded within the underside of clouds,
shade shapes shift like imagination's whims,
light seeping anew like birds through obscurity.

Shrouded in mystery
Cloaked with misfortune
Gift of life
Kiss of death
Dark angels wings
Protect me again
A warm lighted heart
Encased in the cold
Like an epiphany in a clouded mind
Lightening splits the sky after dusk
Revealing hidden things- shrouded
mysteries secrets no more.
Form:
Sky shrouded dark mocha
Hangs over city
Time to get out
To open places empty
Where air is new with zest
Take it all in and rest
In a mountain desert
fog covers the bier
coffin on moaning shoulder
whitish grey the tears
leaves in icicles dripping
cold shrouded abysmal love

a crow caws warning
to the murder 'pon the ground....
through shrouded draped fog
Written: December 04, 2022
murder is a flock of crows
As see so cares
Yet she’s there
Bundled shrouded
Stichic rhyme blend
Clothed in my bare
He caress and shares

FALL (three Haiku)
frosted lawn
black with sparrows
pecking
gust of cold wind
blink of the eye
last leaf flutters down
snowy day
fox and geese
circle shrouded

Let it rain on the
drought-shrouded
terrains.
Let it rain on the
meadow and her
grains;
For the ember stare of
the bridled sun
Fiddles and suffuses our
flaccid corn.
a riot of flakes
conjured by nature's magic...
cars slip-sliding on black ice
winter’s confetti
starts entombing autumn's dead...
colors are shrouded in white
Moon’s eyes keenly look and gaze
At the world shrouded in haze;
Reading the threat of decays.
It is now the right moment
Of earth to have the urgent
Need of solving her descent.
Snowcapped
The white peaks of mount fugi
In the distance,
That majestic mountain
Shrouded in the morning mist.

As we embraced in the enveloping darkness of his front porch,
I am filled with peace and warmth, knowing I will always hold this torch.
Shrouded in secrecy: love comparable to a scorch.
