Carrie, you created such a romantic image with your dodoitsu. I love everything about this one, especially the idea of watching the world disappear with "stars to hold." Simply stunning. Big congratulations on your 1st place win in my contest!

The poem is well structured and flows beautifully. The words sound good and paint a many colored canvas of sights and sounds that the reader can relate to. Emile.
