Jaws In Real Life
Master of the sea
Smells blood from miles away
Swims with dominance
Sharp serrated teeth devours
Naive humans viciously...

Premium Member I Smell Blood a Mile Away
My teeth are serrated like a scary knife.
I can smell blood a mile away on someone’s wife.
Just one drop of the salty stuff is all I need…..
To entice my taste buds to be on their way full speed....

NATURE’s SAGA
A filigree of veinlets, briefly jeweled with dew,
In mirrored pools, peeps saffron's rusty hue,
Maple’s serrated script, twirling in autumn's view,
Summer's green surrendered, in fall's golden cue,
Lifting spirits once gently, deeply subdued....

~ the ragged-edged word, breathed like a blade in your grasp -
you thrust deep ... "goodbye" ~

Snake Sirloin
Serenading with sermons at services,
Serious seraphims searched out self-serving serpents.
But serrated silver certainly surpasses serenity.
Sirloin snake steaks seared and served by servants.

Beneath
This is where it died
where faith and hope succumbed to death.
Where our tears bitter and longing
sting the parched clay.
Where birds resound their daily choruses
intermingled with the mournings,
the serrated sobs that saw the concept
of what should have been....

Premium Member Narcissist's Snips
sharp, serrated scissor snips
jagged little feather clips
bold blue and gold fold to the floor

more & more wings strive to grow
torn & shorn, uneven flow
flap & flap, too trapped to fly

upon a dusty floor, they lie
another's scraps, perhaps planned crafts
by crisp snips, my self I deny...

The Night Serrated
Captive to the night serrated
Lost in a sea of stars
Sailing through the universe
Searching for where you are
The darkness can be so cold
Lost inside, I feel so old
Reaching for the warmth of the sun
Hoping for a life, second to none
Fascinated: the wind surrounds me
Lost: eternity astounds me....

Dr Heckle
It slipped through the skin
Taut from fear
Like Knife through well skin
Holding our breaths in unison
yours in fear
mine something else
Palpating blood
trickles through my steady hands
As serrated edge cuts deeper
Blood waterfall
Gurgling
as you slump towards the floor
and the voice inside
growls more...

Retold Journey
Insane
I turn around
an amputee

to live, for not living
fighting the inner war
speared,
lacerated,
like neanderthal in cave

my weapon
the serrated moon
cried in fluted dark

a glimpse of bare bones
the ash of a bleeding dawn
my shuttered courage
in urn
there was only one evening

Cheating Death
Grated darkness
Bleeding night
Serrated sanity
Shredding sight
Clenched teeth
Gnawing time
Festering fate
Widowed crime
Whispering walls
Squeezing shame
Callous hands
Chiseled name
Seeping shadow
Creaking door
Perfumed epitaph
Married whore
Seething scowl
Backyard breath
Shoveled plot
Cheating death...

Rose
"A thorn defends the rose, harming only those who would steal the blossom,"

green with envy of blooming flower

breath of gods, sent sample of heaven...

You Hurt Me
My memory's my enemy
When thoughts of you pervade,
Recalling blissful times
When we laughed and played.
My mind's now full of poison
By the hurt that you created,
Disturbing all my belief's,
Reflections are serrated.
Why did you do this to me?
What motivated you?
Your words will hurt forever,
My heart's been cut in two....

CHANGING WINDS

           Serrated clouds over my head
Winds blow wild and forlorn
           Frightened monsters under my bed
It’s the separation in life I mourn

My imagination smears bereft joys
            Innocent children in my wake
The warm blanket of endless toys
             My heart’s longed for keepsake

Feral Fragments

Ghostly gloom, born of foreboding stillness,
Cut to smithereens - shattered shards of energy escape
From whirlwinds in feral fragments with serrated cutting edges -
Wary night watch warned of sirocco's spinning untamed spiral catastrophe.

Stolen, Was Her Life
Missing is a heartbeat,
Bleeding are her eyes.
Beaten is her body,
And sorrow where she lies.

Torn are all her clothes,
Serrated is her skin.
Gone is her respect,
Stolen from within.

Broken is her family,
Pain is what she brings.
Love is what is needed.
Underrated are these things.

Glacier Ice
Frozen, crystallized, jagged
glacier ice travels
toward freedom
toward the sea

a thunderous crash
ice shelves splash
calving free
falling into the sea

tenacious waves
appease serrated edges
rolling over but not dead
ice drifts with the sea

radiant in the sun
marbleized white and blue
dissolve in the warmer currents
death hastened by the sea....

Infested
What stings like wasps in hives,
Of trying minds' regret,
Invasive blips, flash frozen pictures,
Recalls, counterfeit,
Serrated icy sickled thoughts,
In glaciated snow,
Dread the warmth, the trickled stream,
Of thawing reapers' sown,
Sipping from the melt embibes,
The swarming, claustrophobic choke,
Alone the white hot heat of heart,
Scatters them with smoke....

Cuckoo Clock Speech
Wild genesis on the spot,
not revised, not memorised,
a stop gap in a script,
verbatim, improvised.
Yet told so much of human nature,
addiction to atrocity,
the logic of the terrorist psyche,
gain from pain and atrocity.
On a ferris wheel, each steely word
a rhetorical, keen, serrated knife,
a perfect coalition of madness and sanity
that crystallised his life....

Scale the Ocean
i feel eyes scraping
against my body
when i move
when i move away
the scratches stay
remnants of a serrated
heart. i see you seeing
me, overwhelmed with
flattery i dart- drastic
attempt to scale the
ocean. it is no secret
i can't swim, but i
swallow the salty great
ponds, leaving naked
mountains as a trail
to me. i want to be found,
but i can't stop running....
