War

Scoring a goal up on a tree
Ants crawling down and see a bee
Honey and bitter never proceed
Going through woods and fall on the leaves
war

David Pasternak:
For scoring goals, he really has a knack.
With him, I only have one beef:
He scored the goal that sank my Maple Leafs!!!

Basketball

Behind the scenes
Always wanting to win
Scoring
Kangaroo hops
Exciting buzzer beater
Tough sport
Basic dribbling
Always exciting
Last chance to win
Losing streaks.

Premium Member Grandpa's Playground

At one-hundred grandpa dreams of a fling
Scoring the streets for a saucy young thing

   That works every time
'Come to my playground, and learn how to swing!'

Seahawks Soaring and Scoring

Seahawks Soaring and Scoring

Seahawks we see do seem to be soaring,
While many more points they are scoring;
Some are saying,
Fantastic playing;
Increase rank victories have been storing.

His family jewels got cup-checked scoring a home-run!
His mother let out a loud yell!
While to his knees, he so painfully, fell.

No Foul

My dream, my desire
is one with a naughty theme...

four women and me
engaged in some sweaty fun -
dribbling, scoring.......basketball.

~truth Or Lies (Epilogue)~

My truth is false,
a glittering overcoat with torn lining,
always catching on good intentions
and jamais vu,

but persona persists
anealed to the base elements
of slipping into a round hole
without scoring.

Time to be fashionable again.

Premium Member Wed To the Dark

Many visions in my head
Most resemble the walking dead
Wide awake lying in my bed
Evil thoughts must be fed
Scoring HIGH on my dark cred
To it I am wed
Scenes dripping a blood red
So many times I have said
I think I need some more of my med

Roaring Came Pouring Out

Will remember when all of the roaring,
Always came out and would be pouring,
While waving;
Winning craving;
Team they favored had started scoring.

Seahawks last ditched effort did not
make it. Oh, well. There is always a
next new year.

Football

I love playing and watching football
The best part is goal scoring which
can be through set pieces or
         lose ball to a player,
          foul inside the box
           brings penalty
           which can lead
                 to a
                  goal!.

I Am My Own Worst Critic - 5 Out of 5

I am my own worst Critic

Of late I seem to have been prolific
But in all honesty very few are terrific
In fact one or two are horrific
I am my own worst critic
I mark myself 1 out of 5
For harder must I strive
If I wish to keep my dream alive
Of scoring 5 out 5

Premium Member Introspective Indecisiveness

Introspective indecisiveness
Ignoring ideal intricacies
Intelligent indigents ignoring ideas in idleness

Sage sensuous silliness
Soaring significantly succinctly, sassily
Sashaying sensitively scoring sensibilities savagely

Words winging wildly
Wildflowers writing winged words.

Perspective Poem

An open court

Every seat filled

Wide eyed and hope filled

Everyone on the edge of their seats

Im flying through the air

The last ten seconds on the clock

The shooter left wide open

The score is tied

I sink in to the bottom of the net scoring the basket

I am a basketball.

Christmas crazies conjure confections in candy kisses.
Wee whimsical winter warlock wistfully wishes
Dreamy darling dolly deliberately does dishes,
Fluidly forever fixing finest fluorescent fishes.
Seasoned sassiness scoring subtly in swishes.
Christmas crazies conjure confections in candy kisses.

Premium Member Phillies 2013

The Phillies are not scoring many runs. They’re leaving runners on base. Zeros are on the board. Get it together. Bad hitting and bad pitching does not win you games. Not many victories come when you score three or less runs. No postseason play if you lose too many games. Play like a winner.

Forsaken Soul Serenaded

Quintain of: sorrow, despair, agony, misery, lament scoring
pain
Dolesome drum o'er jaded psyche taps a dark, palling
refrain
Hamstrung harp bridled soul with dissonant chords
enchain
Shrill flute a dreary, eerie melody wafts o'er drifting
swain
Melancholy tenor of wailing violin doth all availing hope
drain

Premium Member First Love

Your reflection appears in memory,
visible as iridescent shadow;

harmonizing rhythm in my pulse -
as honest as the sonata

living within heartbeats -
and dreams of faraway songs,

scoring newborn destiny,
like symphony's prelude.

Love entered gracefully
gathered as a breath held . . .

gently,
like dew upon the day.

Kintu

We called him kintu
He had a way with girls
He was a handball player
Kintu had a sway with words

We called him kintu
Kintu ever running after girls
Never staying with one for long
Kintu had a way with pretty girls

We called him kintu
He had a way of scoring
Never a goal target did he miss
Kintu was ever after the pretty girls

Premium Member Players Win Players Lose

Some win, others lose;
Try to see which way.
Most tend to confuse;
So simply, "Just play"!

Fine tune scoring skills,
Play for the big game.
Maybe take some spills,
Sure tickets to fame.

Go grab the brass ring,
Wins seem so rosey.
Make truth the top thing-
Hold up that trophy!

If you have not won,
Sports should still be fun.
