First Love
Your reflection appears in memory,
visible as iridescent shadow;
harmonizing rhythm in my pulse -
as honest as the sonata
living within heartbeats -
and dreams of faraway songs,
scoring newborn destiny,
like symphony's prelude.
Love entered gracefully
gathered as a breath held . . .
gently,
like dew upon the day.
