Each man on her husband's work crew

Repels all strife
Because she is One of The Few...

The Truth
Happy birthday, dear Jonalyn,
The shadow passes from your eyes;
The night is nowhere to be seen,
The truth repels the devil's lies.

pinecone
a pinecone
its very sweetness is what repels us
its life's blood draining out
and we think only of ourselves
sticky, sticky pinecone
there is beauty in all things
if one only looks hard enough...

Deceptive beauty

Panoply
Poetry’s spoken armor
repels the pointed spear
warding off tomorrow’s scars
enemies in fear
Each word thus protected
as phrases form anew
to vanquish what the darkness brings
— new battlegrounds in view

Here And There
The coincidence of
 opposites
attracts and repels

Polarity of motion
where
all paradoxes dwell

Conjoined in their
distinction
 negating the either/or

Essential
singularity
— both after and before

Brief Romance
BRIEF ROMANCE

Fell for a Scottish girl long ago. Pretty as a picture, but
Heart as cold as an empty Edinburgh street on a wet
January Monday morning, when the chiseled
Craigleith sandstone blackened by smoke
Repels the rain from the Forth,
And the steep roofs pour
Water into the runnels
Down the cobbled
Streets....

Short Poem of Hope
Short POEM OF HOPE
Flowers still bloom,
birds still sing,
we never know,
what time will bring.

Enjoy their songs,
inhale the smells,
hope our God,
this virus repels

Read a good book,
call an old friend,
clean a closet,
gardens attend.

We'll get through this,
perhaps not today,
we must stay at home,
and for mankind, pray....

Alive
It beats, It flutters
Its strong, Its weak
It bleeds, It heals
It hungers, It feasts
It breaks, It mends
It suffers, It flourishes

Its warm, Its cold
It makes a stand, It shies away
Its hopeful, Its hopeless
It desires, It repels
It takes, It gives

Boundless or bound
Free or held down
The human spirit beats with a life whether known or unknown......

Premium Member Apology
They say I said.
But I stammered.
They quoted the spluttered,
and only said what they imagined.
Did i say what they imagined?
Reflecting,
I meant no harm.
Think no shame on me.
And if indeed they say I said it,
or my part repels for a moment
Take this as my apology ....

The Wind Says
The wind is old
But still it blows
In a silent tone
It needs a zone
Tales it told
To my ears as it blows
Something I never knew
But somehow felt.
As it repels through my clothes
Blows through my hair
I felt its caress
A healing to my soul
To my ears it blew
In whistles it spoke
That I'm not alone
And through time it blows
The wind says
Allow and flow
Peaceful is my heart....

Cram Yourself
It's all 'bout you,

strip ya self naked,

no no bare to the bone,

take a look inside,

crawl up underneath,

like a bad dream, tryin' to shake ya self free,

High tide, keeps it real inside,

take advantage, your kind capsize,

play the fools dream...

Love, anger, repels,

your a hidden, but these eyes can tell,

Meet your maker, yeah, one day,

I'll send this on, ya can explain it away....

Premium Member A Frolic For Children and Puppies
Rolling bodies,
Grass stained jeans
And shouts, yips, and nips
Punctuate the air
As the child and puppy
Roll in the grass of the yard.
Squirt gun fights,
An unintentional bath,
Painted with frivolity
and water as the
Sound of laughter
And playful taunts,
Fill the air around
The children who chase
And play oblivious
To the invisible moat
That repels the perils
Outside the yard....

Lightworkers Proverb

I'm channeling this so bear with
fairies winged remiss giggling myth

Freeing from pain acting in plays
needing not rain beckon for stays

Laying here beside me catching my tears
close is free forgetting my fears

Addiction not falsity highs
a sickness sought glassy eyes

No iris flash entails
desirous indeed repels

Sounds and vibrations tickle my lobes
love the sensations no hate probes...

A Shattered Self
My brilliance is finite
Like my will to live,
I’m running out of light
as sand falls through a sieve.

And as a life i fail,
My wicked blood runs black,
A cautionary tale
In a second hand stack.

My cries will cause a flood,
Giving proof to my old fear,
That between the cracks seeps blood;
Even mad ones don’t come near.

For a shattered self repels
And a sorry self denies,
Mirrors show no parallels
And none reflect my cries....

Stranger In Me
Looking like a woman...
thinking like a man...

somewhere inside...
where we all hide...

until courage comes a knockin'

Stand, run, or fight...

trauma was the thief of time...

regurgitated feelings...
familiar territory...

Soul been here before...

I gave it all away...

Memories stagnate my day...

Shield of strength repels me...

I chose to believe...rather than ignore...

Trauma is the strongest link...

To the stranger In Me......

Time Out
Linger here a moment dear,
And watch the rising sun,
Release the breath of fear,
As day repels the dun.

Exhale stress, let it go,
Linger here a moment dear,
Visual thoughts gently flow,
Another world draws near.

Misty dreams slowly clear,
As chakras start to shine,
Linger here a moment dear,
Reach out for realms divine.

The hushed air found in grace,
Weep not the silent tear,
In such a peaceful place,
Linger here a moment dear.

Magic Words- What I See
I see a mage, a wizard,
Or more correctly, one to be.

He is taking his final test.

If he passes this test,
All his training will be complete.

He repels an attack,
Then one more,
And one more.

Is he almost done?
I do not know.

All this magic,
And not even a word.
I guess he must stay silent.

I can see the concentration
Written on his face.

What thoughts are in his head?

Knowledge
"A humble man acquires Knowledge easily to become wiser,While a proud man repels knowledge and remains the same" by me.

Knowledge is wonderful
Education is vast and beautiful
I have to learn to become successful
Knowledge is wonderful
My heart struggles to acquire it in full
The cost I bear on my shoulders
Knowledge is wonderful
Education is vast and beautiful.
