Morning lights the earth
Factories of life at work
Breath for the taking
Horizon afire
Quenched by a watery grave
Night shadows the earth
nimbus billowed
the sky roared

a deluge fell

nature prevailed
Our hearts were thirsty for life and the heavens quenched their thirst with the dew of love!

fog
cricket
on a window sill
frog
backhoe engine stops
hunger quenched
the thirst of our heart is by bliss mists quenched
we remain forever in rapture drenched
seeking ends, as our will to God we bend
breath by breath thus, we seamlessly ascend
As poverty grows
in this place once of plenty...
addled world collides
So many cultures
quenched for masters of sameness...
two worlds colliding.

She quenched the thirst of men’s souls,
She imprisoned hearts with a single look,
Yet, you grow brighter than her with every stolen glance.

They reunited again.
Love drenched,

Heart clenched.
Desire sated,
Pain abated,
Feel elated.
Tearful fears,
