Summer, and the sunglow hours are creeping, so slowly by
with red ruby treasures, waiting placidly, all day in the sky
But, twilight finally ends, with the perfume of black blooms...

Premium Member Failure To Thrive
failure to thrive

a wee infant thin and silent,
rested placidly in a cot
his skin a pallid shade of blue;
his short stark life almost through.
alone here in this starch white room
hold him. love him and he will bloom....

Premium Member Port- a Pleiades
prussian sea from afar~
pearly shore in slumber
placidly anchored ships
pacific moon smiling
patiently waiting dawn
promise of your come back
painted in the starlight

Premium Member Where Mother Nature Sunbathes
Mother Nature stretches across a floor wearing stones and beads of sand. Placidly she warms herself beneath the sun where shore meets the shining waters of azure sea, and in this place I could not love her more! written July 14, 2016

Pleasure and Peace
In few divine moments i lived
When I palated the wine of love
    and fell in heaven ...
In the goblet of peace, I consumed and
    In placidly remained ...
At the portal of light i endured,
    and I was soothed...
    Back to earth now ...?
    No i won't be back...

Premium Member Soundlessness of Solitude
Here I am laying my
Soft bed down I'm
Thinking about tomorrow
Wishing for yesterday
when days before
I savored the banks of the
French Rivieras undisturbed
Soundlessness solitude of the
Quiet waves rolling placidly
Seemingly beaches ago a
Flock of fair feathered friends
Soaring being admired...

Serenity
Water waves-
Blissfully brushing the shore...
Serene silence prevails.
Seagulls soaring high,
A silent breeze blows
As the lucid leaves
Placidly pulsate.
A wondrous world,
Enchanting the material mind
That covets care, not curse.
Rearing love, like a mother's lap,
Nature nurtures our naked selves....

Rubbing Your Shoulder
Spiraled fingerprints
spinning placidly forward
fingers round and round
moving inward and outward
backward like a beet bulb
from the earth and falling
in circles furrowing
arced lines and curved strength
of muscle memory holding
me mindful of long time you
then and now pressing further
through freckles and primordial fuzz...

I Wonder
There is a whisper through the wind
a sort of haunting
yet charming thing.

A quiet flutter
from an old oak tree
while cricket's
perfect rhythm
replenish the land

I sit by placidly
as if seized by a dream,
closing my eyes:

                     I wonder
                 and wonder
                 and wonder

but I'll never know...

A Fool Forgets His Tool
Not bringing along my tool
Has me made a Big fool:
A breaker of workers First Rule
And copyist of The Empty Mue
That should back turn to school…

So unprofessional an omission
That I be quick about its admission
But here I am rather cool,
Placidly surveying a greenish pool
While I had all deserved but a stool
And time to over spirogyra drool....

Premium Member The Buddha Casts No Shadow
The Buddha casts no shadow
smugly seated at high noon’s
forever present moment

a ripple-less façade placidly
ignoring its turmoil filled depth
masked in fates saturnine smile

a somber stoic’s silent grin
mocking the wind blown leaves
amused by time’s chaos

plumply sated in his idyll
disconnected from all things
the Buddha casts no shadow

Premium Member Journal
In one corner of my ancestral home~
Placidly stood a comfy library,
There I saw a journal embossed in chrome
My grandma’s treasure, her dear diary.

There my grandma used to read me daily
The stories of her humble childhood days,
Written in that journal she kept dearly;
Which until now still fresh as new sun rays.

Premium Member Her Facebook Page
My cousin asks me if I have seen her social media page today.
Not today, no, but I know what is there.
A photo of a clock showing the time she awoke.
A video of her cooking breakfast.
A picture of the breakfast table and a happy family.
It is what she posts daily.
No hobbies. No talents. No friends or families.
Her whole day seems to focus on their breakfast.
I wonder at the simplicity of that.
Is it worrisome or placidly calming?...

Mare of Content
Grazing on the hearty lawn, Peacefully; even placidly.
Coming closer to the earth, with each mouthful.

Leaves gathered on the grass,
implying the nearing of fall.

Having few cares,
she munched along, blissfully.

Standing ominously near a fence,
nearing a tree, she fooled the onlooker

One would think
this steed was free.

Perhaps she was more free,
than you or I.

Tugging, relentlessly on each blade of grass,
she was a mare of content!...

When We Blossom
Still in it's shade
It's photosynthetic life, is still closed
Sleeping till the sun's light is made
To placidly open it's eyes, they have roses

Shining bright from the dewy nature
It's life is uncovered for the sun's means
It takes in one light it captures
And let's Dew's morning feed

Over it's fragile symmetry, the wind bellows
Gently shifting it right and slow
To reach the sun's gleaming countenance to grow
We awake with a blossom in natures halo...

Miss-Represented
She is a woman
Cool, calm and collected
If placidly she tugs and lags
Like a sheep behind a successful shepherd

She is a woman
Sweet, simple and soft
If she has voice, low and faint
Like a maid in the midst of masters

She is a woman
Booby, bumpy and beautiful
If she lays the bed and her body
Like a mother cow in the hands of milkmaid

She is a woman
Educated, enlightened and enthroned
If it’s all practiced adroitly in the kitchen
Like an eagle flying in a beautiful cage....

Premium Member Searching For Sanctuary
Between the hidden and the knowing
dost not the heart lead
upon heights of silent stowing
to once again reveal his creed

As streaming clouds run westward
and fain, I bequest of solemn glory
why must sin lay incurred
for truth be my story

If only to find our Sovereign Lord
calling out amid my guilt
then surely love shall be adorned
woven placidly in heavens quilt

In hymns and color I shout to thee
that wounded eyes might come to see
