drink my creamy dream

eat my children between fat-bread

Stulted pedantic canker-bloom
Your bird-plucked eyes

Naturally particular, normally pedantic, never problematic - pessimism notwithstanding.

Thoughtfully intuitive, interested in thinkers; tactile in time, nuance in tenderness....

A Romantic Endeavor
His alarm failed, so no time to be pedantic
He still tried in his haste to be romantic
He had to hurry he was late
And in such an absent state
He slammed his wife and kissed the door, when frantic!...

Ostentatiously Learned Inkhorn
Inkhorn means ostentatiously learned and pedantic

Ostentatiously Learned Inkhorn

What I had learned after being born,
Was that I would become an inkhorn;
Knowledge showing,
And brain growing;
All over my walls diplomas did adorn.

Day Into Night
Trains are romantic,
  airplanes are not

The prepared speech pedantic,
  ‘a song lyric caught’

Your eyes have to choose
  between vision and sight

Or your spirit transforms
 —changing day into night

(Villanova Pennsylvania: January, 2018)...

One glass of Merlot makes my innards tingle

Dry wine has a way of making me romantic

Two glasses blur my vision, but I'm eager to mingle

Half a carafe finds my language less than pedantic

No misinterpretation, dwell not on meanings semantic

Pedantic Who Me
PEDANTIC? – WHO ME?
You say that I’m pedantic But that’s not precisely true. Pedantic is not the right word, As I’ll explain to you. I’ve checked the Oxford Dictionary, Which I know you’ll find insidious. But really dear you ought to know, The word you want is ’fastidious’ 24th April 2023 Character Traits poetry contest Sponsor - Angela Tune...

ZZ Snore, Snore, ZZ Written: by Tom 9-6-2019 Night’s sleep was scanty, today I’m logy and slow. Forgetting pharmaceuticals, caused tossing to and fro. Today my song, won’t be a mellifluous sound. But I’ll be pedantic, until my sleep clocks rewound. I’m apt to be loquacious, during sleep once again. While a good power nap, might mollify my pain.

Latin
Latin is abstruse whilst the learning battle ceased

Though as theorist thinkers, found a language lost,

Opaque it all may seem, but it’s merely just a dream

Then I’ll circumvent some adumbrate at least.

Impetuous the urge I ask to detail verse for you-

Meticulous does Latin sound, incredibly romantic,

As old as it may be, its sight is not pedantic

It's feature full with feculence, but understood by few....

Please pander to my
Perfectionism by
Pottering your purlesent
Peepers purposely past my
Permanently printed
Phrases of poetic poise

Pulling precious people
Past particular poison
Pleases.
Pushing perfection points
Purposefully protects from
Painful perception.

Perhaps a pedantic persuasion?
Perhaps a pen peaking in
Peppery passion or with
Personal poignancy or
Painted pastiche pictures of
Platitude?

Silence
Light is speech. the mind
an enchanting thing
picking and choosing.
Our past becomes present
consequences.
Modesty may,might nay must
overcome envy.
Retreat propriety,
rescued by the disposition of angels
in pedantic literalism.
A distrust of merits, style &connoisseurs.
prisnmatic colours,hyphens &lines.
Nonchalance,in lieu
efforts of affection ,interacting with
apparations of splendour.

Tree-finger enchantments
   Shimmer pedantic staccato;
Violinist plucked
   Long-tails, blue in snow,
      Bewitched no longer, frolic.
   Embrace Poseidon.
Whisper labyrinths cool to the wake.
East, I see an oblong ship pirouette
    Charging from Olympus…on fire,
        Shadowy Everests migrate west;
    Crisped saltines crumbled by guilt
       Whose silent peaks rejoice:
How beautiful the clouds swim in sunrise sky.

sifting silently
wafting wonderment
radiating rapture

Disgrace
Disgrace
Surrounded by adulations, you flaunt your expectations.
Undue repercussions, desiring gratuitous acknowledgement of your affluence and good fortune.
Reminders of turbulent open tribulations, slamming the door and watching you crestfallen as you fall from grace.
What you call a miracle intervention when really you should do penance for the chaos unleashed.
Pedantic overflow snuffs out my exhilaration.
Is my preoccupation really but a side effect of my own disgrace?...

Life and Lost Savor
To whom life has lost its savor
The irrational does favor:
To whom existence is a bore
Breaker of Untouchable Law...

Exactly so with Bored Rhonda,
Ready to hug Anaconda,
Eyes planting to the Romantic,
Self lending in the Pedantic...

I would same say of Hunter:
The swayed by life - Bursting Thunder,
Who a try gives The Ecstatic,
Life helping with The Synthetic...

To whom life has lost its savor.
Daily swallow of Saliva.

Satan's Misguided Conniver....
