Premium Member On Seeing the Moon

As
the
full moon
softly casts
its pearlescent light,
the world sleeps undisturbed tonight.
My heart throbs with yearning upon seeing Luna’s glow.
I see no star to wish on, but what I wish for is as distant from me as that moon.

Premium Member The Space of Love

Pristine, with my princes of peace.
            Undaunted, unassailable, unique.
            Pearlescent peaks.
            Samba's sensual, sounds
Lost are we~ in loveland's light.

Premium Member Snakeskin

Snakeskin in my garden
About two feet long
Flimsy iridescent
Not very strong
Uneven texture
Pearlescent hue
One inch around
What can I do
Looking for it’s owner
Must be bigger now
Reptiles not my favorite
Wish it was a cow

Premium Member Twilight Magic

Pearlescent sand glistens on your skin; I gaze into warm eyes;
their sheen is the radiant blue of waves caressing this shore.
As stars appear - glittering - I’m shimmering into you.

Premium Member Where Wildflowers Bloom

Come with me where wildflowers bloom
Among weeds in the meadow we'll dance
Each day we'll meet and hold hands at dusk
delighting in the change of colors in the sky
When the moon glows with pearlescent light
we'll spend the night beneath a million stars

That Night

That Night

The moonlight was
PEARLESCENT.
EVENTIDE had been
Long gone.
FERAL HOWLING
Could be heard.
It was eerie!
And it CRIMPED
my style!
There was a
TANG of
Fear in my mouth!
The normal THRUM of a
Usually soothing
Was not!
It was all
PLUMB odd!

Where Lilies Stood

Our feet, wet and bare, marked our track
In pearlescent dew upon the grass
While, bright and fresh, the morning sang:
Two cardinals shrilling,
Autos crawling far-off,
And sun, bright as gold, warm on my face
When, there, in our garden,
Where lilies stood yawning,
I kissed your soft cheek
For what we had done.

My Alyssum

Through beads of hope I gaze
elegant strong and brave
with greens and diamond blues a mast
off her petals pearlescent dew drops lie
fragrantly guiding a watchful eye

Honeybee yellow stings of fate
absorbing every ray of baby's breath
harmoniously humming
in a wholesome milieu
shifting boundaries cast away drear

Thai Reflections

The green tea in its blue and white
porcelain tea cup is full of sunlight.

The dark eyed fortune teller’s
delicate hands
pass over the small cup -
swans skimming low
above a green pond.

 “She will love you forever”
she says,
one pearlescent nail
tracing my life in the tea leaves.

Then:
“but you will never meet her.”

White

I am pale, head to toe
and if dying be a fading,
I begin my descent,
from easy pink to opal.

Pearlescent blood barely
floating now through veins
supplied by a heart not
eager for activity.

About to sleep, I hear my child
call from far away or deep inside.
Color resumes and I am
wearing ruby slippers.

Pearlescent Pleasure

You whispered those words that made my heart silently shiver
While my soul steadily began to quiver
Wishing for a warm night that would last forever
In realms where sun and moon will be cosmically together
The romance that floats beneath oceans carrying diamond treasure
And Scars of moonbeams will be veiled behind pearlescent pleasure
Form: Monorhyme

Pearlescent Moon

Pearlescent moonbeams glowing
through the gathering mist
lights my way down a path of
emerald grass the dew has kissed

Ahead the lake just sparkles
aglow in that pearly light
An owl hoots from the old oak tree
his voice echoing into the night

This night now draped in shadows
as I stroll this path alone
a peaceful calm serenity
stays with me as I walk home.

Ran's Nets

Rans nets, which bind and trap.
Ensnare and incapacitate all who swim in the oceans of life
I tangle thy golden skeins.
Your pearlescent webs that move in the voids between the 9 dimensions.
Your webs of final fate that float and dance between the worlds.
Ensnaring everybody in the 9 planes and all existences
may your golden Webs ensnare the wrongs
done to me and right them.
Form: Ballad

Cow Lover

strongest cloven fiend
a face adored by Venus
beautiful bestial body
so loved by God in Genesis

take the crimson string
tied upon his velvety hide
red thread cuts the skin
ankles bound for the ride

hoisted on the mantle
an all engulfing spiral
upon pearlescent horns
blackish fur of desire

dark red heart
beating at his side
a full blooded kiss
could never be denied

The Magpie

A solitary black figure
perches on a barred gateway,
surrounded by a softened blanket
of pearlescent white. Shadows
of color at play signal
a countryside alive in striking
impressions. The lowering afternoon
sun warms the winter sting,
surviving in the thievery of
the winged crusader in motion.
A musical interval marked in
the whispered silence of a
wintry snow covered landscape.

Premium Member April Flowers

I am blooming in a landscape Solar beams graze on the soft face shimmering flushed flower colors. Adorning my skin, Freckles on sunflowers. I bury myself beneath the tall grass The breezes of march waltz in the heavens To bestow heavy downpours Would deliver pearlescent flowers. To shout my heart out, In the rich tone of April.

Twilight's Glow

It is nearing on to a second spring night,
While twilight’s glow is coloring the western sky;
Brown horses are silhouetted against its brilliance,
Purple, lilac, coral misty and mysterious stripes.

Misty for the days' wispy clouds are floating softly;
Mysterious, the universe so sublimely spawned,
Eyes close across time's rolling like ivory dominoes falling,
Only to open again to a pink and pearlescent dawn.

R-eality and fantasy deliciously intertwine, with
O-pulent stars and pearlescent moonlight,
M-ystical pheromone tango and waltz,
A-ncestral hearkening to the lyrical
N-ewness of love. Warmth of rapturous embrace,
T-rill of songbird heartbeat - pulses flutter in
I-dyllic skies of amorous twilight, utterly
C-harmed by a pink tie and a blue rose in stiletto heels.

my audience - the pearlescent clouds, gleaming stars, souls with a poetic heart!
