Notes About The Poem

~ Bite Size 92 Contest by Line Gauthier 10/9/24 ~

Where Wildflowers Bloom

Come with me where wildflowers bloom
Among weeds in the meadow we'll dance
Each day we'll meet and hold hands at dusk
delighting in the change of colors in the sky
When the moon glows with pearlescent light
we'll spend the night beneath a million stars

What beautiful imagery is this? Lin, you have captured my metaphorical mood.. while we have legs let's dance.. Our words can twirl and laugh under the freedom of the night sky. Love this. Blessings S:) x

I’d love to dance beneath the moon, where the fragrant wildflowers bloom. Lovely poetry… Beryl

Lin, there are actually twenty-three million four hundred and 46 thousand three hundred and 12 stars...OK, OK, I had to go there but I did enjoy this dance beneath the stars...

Lin, so many different views of a beautiful day, evening, and night. You have created a celebration of nature....I can't think of much of anything better than sharing this the way you do. It's as if you are every reader's partner. A real pleasure...smiles and admiration from here!

Lin, it was the subtle way you used "we." It's so inclusive and wonderful. I'm awed.

Always shared with more emotions with someone loved. Your comment touched me very much. I've never had one quite so profound as to think I'm every reader's partner. You've humbled me and made ME smile. Thank you.
