Mess

Making a
Mess is for children and pets but not for
Me. At least so I think, but
My wife tells
Me otherwise. However, I have
My own way of organizing things. I think she likes
Making my life miserable

The Coming Wind
Organizing each word unpenned,
I gave myself to rhyme

And offered up my humble skills
in thankfulness sublime

Each one a treasure unto me,
with silence on the run

Verses promised and drifting near
—of memories to come

(The New Room: March, 2021)...

For being in charge
Because of you that is how everything is right now

My Best Friend
A 'lil' daylight left
Still so much shit in my head
Must relinquish it in a healthy way

Organizing my mind
fingers aching and numb
Hurts so good

Oh, WAH
It's coming out

Afternoon In Amsterdam
Afternoon in Amsterdam

I was looking at the little man
He was a long way away
Dim in my perception
Of Amsterdam time
Turning the wheel
For a song
Played magnificently
From
The bright red street organ
He was turning the wheel
The time wheel of Prakash
And
Organizing all of the stars
Crank
Turn
Crank...

Hello Poetry, is it me your looking for?
All Poetry and poets
Where have you been?
I, the Poem hunter, searching high and low
even deep underground
for words that sound profound
sitting in a Writers Cafe
organizing me poems
sipping words a soothing as my hot latte
if I made you smile, you made my day

The ambitious poetry goat

Strippers Union
Something in the Times
   today
       about organizing
the strippers
   Not a bad thought
   These
women
provide
a break
   from the humdrum existence
of many men
    in our cold metropolis
Who out there in the darkness
remembers Cher's
"Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves"
     Every night the men
 would come around and..........

This They Do
Fragments of poetry
   THIS they do --
organize chaos
in loving fashion
written in soul's ink
with deepest passion
'Perhaps' pursed my own
        two-lips
and perhaps pink is
mostly romantic as tulips
and this they do:
reminding me of my obligations
     ,those fragments of poetry
organizing chaos in their beloved
and miraculous fashion!

Over In a Flash
The holidays come and go in a flash,
after months of preparation,
organizing decorations,
Picking out the perfect tree,
shopping with glee,
In a flash comes the end of the
gaiety and revelrie,
A big crescendo ends on a light note,
The partying,
The gift-giving,
The wonderful sentiments,
come to a halt,
Then, the world goes back to playing
their real-life parts....

Poetry Soup
Organizing contests in a discreet manner
Engaging its members in time-based contests
Training them in the art of poetry
Raising deeply rooted poets
Yet yielding themselves to be tutored

Such a family of poets I'm glad to belong
Optimizing every opportunity given
Upgrading myself as I journey on
Pursuing my purpose and calling

Game of love
Concealing intentions desperately, they refuse to speak.
Enjoying and flowing with this game of hide and seek.
Hardly organizing themselves when they meet,
Anticipating the other to take the lead.
Pity and fearful eyes might reveal intentions.
Yes, full of emotions, but what if the other one gets the notion?
In this beautiful game, deadlock still needs to be broken.

Clean
I’m busy again.
Dusting, organizing, mopping.
Everything is clean already.
We already swept up all her old food.
And mopped her muddy paw prints.
It’s clean, it’s clean enough!
They say.
We don’t get less sad.
The house just gets clean.
We remember her favorite treats.
We donated them.
I ignore their calls and texts.
I’m busy again.
And I don’t want to talk about her, anyway....

Premium Member The intent of a Poem
Listen to poem:
Here, I am organizing thoughts like threads in a loom Pouring out, compelling, feelings, angst, impending, doom A minds' constructed house; in a moments singular room Uniquely crafted; gifts, words, letters shared so others' thoughts may consume Not meant to be a vacuum; nor a sweeping broom Reading yours; you read mine, the intent of a poem Is to rid the world of; or shed light upon its gloom

Premium Member Hope this was Okay
Warmth in a wigwam on a December afternoon.
The sun was going down, but it was cozy and hot inside.
my invited dinner guests would be here soon,
so, I began organizing things I wanted to eliminate or hide.

My early bird friend caught me and helped me out a bit.
What are we eating tonight? She asked in her curt way.
Tidbits, meats, cheeses, fruits, things to make us fit.
I brought fudge brownies, she told me “Hope this was okay”....

Grand Rising
Good Morning
Grand Rising

Contemplating, Organizing, Eulogising
Wondering, Pondering
What the morning brings

Another day is dawning
And the cuckoo sings

In the expanse of the mind
We float and find
The reality of our eyes
The inner self, the divine

As the music is playing
And I am listening
To the voices of angels
Honouring and praising
The ancestors

Strengthening our resolution
Where we can find
Honour and glory
For the love of mankind.

Premium Member I'M On Vacation
I'm on vacation,
And having so much fun.
I've been organizing and cleaning,
And working off my buns.

Made curtains for my kitchen,
Made cake and cookies too.
Did the laundry, mowed the lawn,
Made supper for the crew.

Then I did the basement,
From one end to the other.
Shampooed the carpets, did the drapes,
Now there's just the cupboards.

I'm on vacation, let's partay!
This week has been the best.
Next it's back to work for me,
At last now I can rest....

Humans Have Leaves
Humans too have leaves
they need no sunshine
no oxygen they can provide
chlorophyll they have not
black, white or grey they are
some permanently hidden
no food they make for plant
stomata are absent in all
cut them off but they grow
annoying, stubborn they are
but women love them so much
half their life time they spend
organizing, oiling, baking, guarding
try touching a woman’s leaves
without expressed permission
and a case of assault is filed
a great obscene tress pass it is!...
