The intent of a Poem

Listen to poem:
Here, I am organizing thoughts like threads in a loom Pouring out, compelling, feelings, angst, impending, doom A minds' constructed house; in a moments singular room Uniquely crafted; gifts, words, letters shared so others' thoughts may consume Not meant to be a vacuum; nor a sweeping broom Reading yours; you read mine, the intent of a poem Is to rid the world of; or shed light upon its gloom

Thank you very much Deb! Someone on here made me ponder what really is the intention of a poem. Which was the muse for this particular writing. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! A.S.
