I held the hand
of a madman
hiding in Hollyhocks
blending with ogres,
eerie in tombs,
chasing stars through
their animal shapes;
others, a witch
to their ghosts, anew,
those gardens
though full, were
dark worlds at night...

Story Time
I never tire of the tales
Release gradually comforts me
Everything fades away
All around me ogres sing
Dreams and dragons circle left
Perfectly tame and sensible.
Organized into a secret union.
Escape from the real world
My perfect afternoon.
Sanity a silent observer....

Fantasy
wandering in this forest, not knowing where to go
seeking a path, the path you should follow
creatures follow, serve, and protect
for you are a fantasy, a fantasy not of a threat
unicorns, ogres, and faeries united they are all caring
this is your new home, so now take the lead to this fantasy world...

When It Hurts To Laugh
In the middle of "hell" and all its ogres,
It is difficult to find a ray of hope,
or salvation to lighten the spirit,
A smile or simple laughter fights its
way to get to the surface,
While the heart festers with pain
and angst, a mere facade to the outside
world, affirming the mirage, that all is well....

There are dungeons and dragons
maidens in distress
Legends of realms
 knights on skirted horses
and maidens all dressed in fancy dresses
fire trucks
 spaceships
 robotic vehicles
just to mention a few
Peter rabbit
Santa Claus
Smurfs
and ogres alike
just come to the library
to be thrown in the mix...

Pure of Heart
Pale words floating
Naked in the twilight.

Sing of Demons and Ogres

Arrows dripping Love's sting
Slice my soul.

First Promises
melting in the sun.

Secret tears of fire
empty from my eyes.

white petals quiver
like feathers

and scatter across the ground.

Our Hearts open
Hoping, Loving, and Pure!...

Moon lurks behind wispy clouds so high
Ogres, ghouls and ghosts creep side by side
Only peeping out when they’ve passed by
Now Halloween’s here she plans to hide

Premium Member The Scent of Oneness
Cloudy night, an orphaned star
spinning into wayward heart.

They drift as one upon a stream
glowing light- aurora dreams.

When time pounds the kettle drum
they draw in tight, becoming one.

The morning sun, chimes "all is well".
Night ogres retreat back into hell.

Sharing soul and sweetened seeds
two silver swirls on sapphire seas....

Green-Eyed Monsters
I called them monsters,
Green eyed ogres
These writers
Full of mediocre.

Some slam what they do not understand
Praising the most bad poetic verses
For the sake of reciprocation
I detest these writers lacking converses.

Green eyed monsters they are
I don’t care what they think of me
Green eyed ogres full of crap
I don’t care I am free!...

Stop Picking On Me
They say love is blind
So i must have 20-20

A bow and arrow with blind boys thumb
All that are needed by the dumb.

A shower of kisses
Red Rose and Snow White.

Appauling beloved
Gathered here tonight

Expect the unexpected
for you it will come to see.

if ogres can find love
Then why can't we?

The Owl and the Pussycat
Managed at sea

Oh why can't we...

Critter Tale
A slim handsome ogre named Vampire,
married into a fairytale empire.
His elfin wife named Hairy
bore him a sharp toothed fairy,
That looked like a Hobbit from the shire.

Much to the elves’ and Ogres’ chagrin,
they bore an impish child again.
This time being on a roll,
they bore an impish troll,
and now all the fantasy creatures are kin!

(inspired by Debbie Guzzi's contest)...

I've walked up blueish poles.
Gazed upon beautiful ogres.
Sampled minty auroras.
Vomited the bleeding, unforgiving cold.

I've waltzed a million lily ponds.
To seek a mirage called bliss.
Despite the perils that swirl
Beneath the horizon of all dreams.

I've put my face to fire.
To kiss a blossoms' lips.
But in the end was given a muzzle of sweet needles.
-the haunt of scented ash....

Ghost in number Ten was real, not fake,
He looked out of the window with heart ache,
Children dressed like ogres and ghouls,
Their parents followed like mules,
“Why is no one dressed like me! for God’s sake!”

Fearing Fear
There are watershed moments
at some point in life when,
    in the floodlights of reason,
      the most hideous ogres
        in blood-curdling nightmares
          turn out to be
            just tiny, frightened mice;

when, in the glare of sober logic,
          the worst terror,
        the most horrible demons
      are shown as mere shadows
    of matters that are,
  after all,
of no real consequence!...

Fantasy Ecstasy
I grew up in a world of fantasy
Of kings and princes, goblins and gnomes
Fairies and elves, ogres and trolls
My parents gave me everything they could
Till at eighteen I on my own feet stood

But the real world was like a nightmare I woke up to
Tearing to pieces my inner delicate world
To keep my balance I turned to ecstasy
For the pain to dull and from a cruel world run
I now live in a rehab waiting for some fairy to set me free...

The Introvert
There are trolls
under the bridge
that connects my solitude
with the world of mirrors and veneers
of office hobnobs
and dinners after eight,
where the deathless ogres follow me
to perch, invisible, beside my chair
and rock and leer and cackle
at my efforts there

So, I retreat
across the long and tenuous passage
into the labyrinth of my genius
where both men and demons flounder
because no signboards are displayed
and compasses despair....

After Hallow's Eve
There comes a creaking from the ceiling,
a tap, a knock, an unfamiliar, scary sound.
Some creature’s up there speaking
	creeping, crawling all around.
The attic is a place hidden to itself
	where few find their way.
Ghosts and witches, ogres and elfs
caution us to hear what it is they say.
Halloween is full of scary snarlings
among the costumes, candies, shaking knees.
Hold back and wait, my darling
feel safe, take my hand and squeeze...

A Part Hayt Odyssey
A part hayt odyssey,
Resembled like mornarchy.
The alley nocturnal caused
Mayhem in the locations.

In the days of anarchy, no
 Man's land was nominated
To asphalt, but evacuees
allotmented by a part hayt.

Rascal ogres rebuffed for
Ambidextrous.
Some fought for realm, Some remained
queasy and sissy.

The policemen slogged youth
Willy nilly, while the henchman
Neither splinter nor quiter.
The bosterious finally decreased
And history was made....

Free the Spirit
Let it be heard

The tale within

The unspoken myth you carry

Those dreams within a dream

'Twas long deferred

Those words you hide

Must turned into precious flowers

And grabbed the princesses eyes

Or to be a sword

And killed the beast

Defeat those ogres and demons

And turned them into priest

Through mighty words

You can blow a mind

Can slice the seal of fate

Could changed the route of time
