Fearing Fear

There are watershed moments at some point in life when, in the floodlights of reason, the most hideous ogres in blood-curdling nightmares turn out to be just tiny, frightened mice; when, in the glare of sober logic, the worst terror, the most horrible demons are shown as mere shadows of matters that are, after all, of no real consequence!
