in another state
or another country
anywhere but here
i want to travel
not just pictures on the net
i want adventure
my weary trudge along a hundred miles
through rugged roads lead my steps~
to a closed iron gate
I ache completely for her
Her heart is so far away
Many miles are between us
I want her with me

We have traveled over a thousand miles
and walked a bunch more too.
Wouldn't have wanted to spend the time
with anyone else but you.
For each step one takes on evil's path, miles away himself from salvation finds!

You sat there in your faded dress,
A place,
A world away.
Not centre of attraction,
Poised to leave,
A thousand miles across the room.
glass half empty half full
my stomach well fed
i am warm and have a roof
yet I'd have the gall to ask for more

it has lot to say
everyday
a smile is the way
to bring love in
meet friends
let people know as you go
your gods child
SMILE GOES FOR MILES
Night's curve
lost on rails
my broken keys lost in a sad lune
an orchestra playing on my mind
a drama of senses
takes its toll--
cracked miles
We could see for miles.
The sun radiated in all its splendour.
Seemed like a virgin land.

Brutal sun aggresses the desert.
Sand dunes far as I can see.
Suddenly appears a cactus flower.
A vision not a mirage.

Having flown to the moon
and then returned all smiles
how when and where
will the first men there
redeem their frequent-flyer miles?
holding me tight
eyes oceans away
are you already gone

I looked close —
Through the earth's leaves
It all wakes_
From a blink
The shattered Pleiades
rising; The moon-shadow
Encircling;wide awake n the dark
Sending a little luck your way
Maybe it will change your day
Hoping at least that you will smile
Since I've thought of you across these miles

Miles and miles of fence
Young trees gave their life to serve
As a barrier
Between interstate traffic
And wildlife that roams in woods
You're 3000 mile away
its 6 am
I'm in my own bed
dead asleep
my phone rings
its 3am
but your voice could wake me from a coma
you're 3000 miles away
and its only 3am

Melancholy men meandering many muddy miles. Marred minds, muffled moans, marked madness. Minimized merciful miracles; morphs mans’ magnified misery.

Buzzing bee, keep the sun in your sights,
packing nectar down snug in your tights.
So adroit at your task
that I just had to ask:
" Is that dinner on all of your flights?"
now i wonder
if i could kiss you in the night
do you think i could turn back time
because you know i'd apologize a thousand times
just to hug you
just to kiss you
tonight

Though oceans apart our love is profound
a challenging labyrinth ~
until we meet again
To prevent us from killing one another
social distancing is a wonderful idea
but it should be six miles
instead of six feet
until we learn how to listen
and respect one another-
hes has dreams
it times life so mean
making is there theme
no money no love or honey
and cards or stack
to self talking without a smile
thats
a
WALKING BLACK CHILD
FOR MILES AND MILES
South-paw slug
Undermining my mischief
clouded people
walking lonely bare
drawing cartoons dancing
unicorns whistle away
WAR-MONGERING white-out
little part donkeys
crying to the moon
I think of you
over the miles
your face your smile
I wish i could say hello
and hold you in my arms
and tell you that i love you
and always have loved you
from over the miles
