Over the Miles

I think of you

over the miles

your face your smile

I wish i could say hello

and hold you in my arms

and tell you that i love you

and always have loved you

from over the miles

Karen, I’m also sad to read that this poem was written for your son, it’s a poem from your loving heart, be gentle with yourself… Belle

Oh gosh Karen I have tears in my eyes reading your comment about it being for your son, Giving up a child for adoption to give them a chance of a better live is something that must be so hard to bear but in your case it was the ultimate gift of a mothers love. My mum's best friend adopted 4 children and gave them an amazing life. I'm sending massive hugs through my tears Jan x

This was written for my son who was adopted when I was going through rough times. Thank you for your kind comment.
