A Hundred Miles

my weary trudge along a hundred miles
through rugged roads lead my steps~
             to a closed iron gate

I am quite a positive person, so after walking all that way, I am sure you'll be pleased to see that gate open up as soon as you approach, dear Valsa. Sacrifices are not meant to be made in vain! ~ Best regards // paul

Not all journeys end at open doors. Alternative routes a necessity -- though the heart is stubborn. Got me thinking. A fine write!

I love how youv written your kimo dear sweet Valsa ~ Your wordplay is stunning and so very touching! So deeply moving and poignant! Hundred miles to a closed iron gate ~ sounds painful! I especially love the line " through rugged roads lead my steps~" Pleasure reading this! Best wishes Sending you light always This is a fave! 💜
