Medicated Meditations
Samson had Delilah,
I married a pariah...

She'd bedded the
entire city,
And was really not that pretty,

But dumb is dumb,
And genitals think,
Led to a marriage,
Which really did stink....

Just Fyi
Hopefully I won't write anything offensive....
Please forgive me if I do...
Remember I am HEAVILY medicated since my surgery

Oh let's see... how many of those pretty pink pills have I taken??...

Medicated
Words cannot see,
What I need to say,
Hidden amongst,
Opaque tongue play,

I sit under I,
Dwelling within,
Waiting to steal,
The joy from my kin,

Greyscale mindset,
Envelops my eyes,
The ID of me former,
My Ego disguised,...

Self Medicated Happiness
SEPARATE ME FROM THE LIVING
FIND THE WORDS TO MAKE ME BETTER
WAITING BY THE BEDSIDE OF TODAYS DEATH
THINKING THAT IM OK
WITH THE SELF MEDICATED HAPPINESS
THE PLAIN SMILE THAT I SHOW
PULL DOWN THE MASK OF YESTERDAY
AND LET IT ALL GO

Run
grew up on prozac
and paranoid bouts
had faith in nothing
but unrelenting doubts
had a broken mind
that was a bit too complicated
kept it consistently medicated
to make life simplicated
candy to keep her quiet
and uncomfortably numb
she knew how to bottle it
bottle it and run...

Points To Ponder
Medicated
with points of glory

this defensive calm
vaccinates against
the moments in life
that challenge
my will to live,
my instinct to survive...

held together
by pins of denial
when I could have sewn the seams
with the needles
of brutal life
and threads of earthly hope....

The Streets Are Bleeding Sakura
There's a rare blooming
of sakura this fall
the trees cotton-candy-sweet
antipsychotic-sweet
Blossoms descend in batches
soon to cover the asphalt road
like spilled Pepto-Bismol
I swallow my pill with regret
drift into oblivion
the petals blur in my vision
the whole world tinted pink
by my medicated brain...

No Body
Nothing showing save your eyes
youve wrapped yourself in linen lies
medicated strips because
you need to hide behind the gauze
    Fluids oozing through the cracks
fill the scene with livid tracks
now your body too has gone
melted out upon the stone
nothing left now to be true
just a shell
           wrapped up like you....

Dedicated To the Law
Dedicated To the Law

Dedicated to Janet Reno
Was watching them talk
about her on the Today Show.

To law did become dedicated
Which I'm sure was predicated
Had read them in many books
And started to affect my looks
Until they had me medicated.

Medicated
This relapse is pending
So go on and judge me
Still breaking and mending
Who you'd never want to be

Once happy, now sad
But it goes back again
Happy's the fad
Among judgmental men

This roller coaster
Of thoughts in my mind
All of you critics
Will be happy to find

Too many times jaded
The happy times faded
I'll go on and say it
I am medicated...

Medicated
I still sense that there was something behind those masked voices.

I used to cry so much more deeply.

And I’d have fun with those blooming voices.

With eyes that would swing back and forth.

As if on a carnival ride.

With secrets becoming more distant each day.

I yearn for the gnawing sensation.

That used to be the start of a new passion....

Void
I feel this big void
I feel so terrible
Like life doesn’t matter
Nothing means anything
Police sirens
Ambulance sirens
I can’t stand it anymore
I am so empty
Women screw you over
Men take advantage of you
Medicated to the point of not having a life
None of my dreams can come true because no-one supports me
No friends
No family
I am not feeling sorry for myself
This is life...

Medicated Love
Love is nothing more than a medical condition.
and I'm tired of taking these pills.
Like the tears on my pillow, I didn't sleep a wink last night.
and I'm tired as hell.
Love is nothing more than a heart condition.
Like a broken looking glass or a silly superstition.
I didn't sleep a wink last night
and I'm tired as hell. Like the tears on my pillow,
and the stories they tell....

The Release
Let loose is what they tell me
don't listen they say frequently
I imagine out loud at times
and inwardly it chimes

I believe I am at fault
at times I wish tis nought
I'm just over stimulated
for that I'm not medicated

I do need to find a release
so I can have some peace
I listen to their words
And figure out absurds

It will serve me well
I'll feel relieved and I can tell...

Addiction
contentment contradicted by emotions supressed
more like medicated happiness
an unmanagable mess
lost in deception
denial, i lied to my self
with a destorted perception
I sabatosh my health
abandon my values
turn my back on my kin
in a control battle with addiction
I delusianaly think I could win
a downward spiral of adventure
in which im killing my self
its time to surrender
its time to seek help...

Me To Be Continued
medicated but still crazy
energetic yet still lazy
an artist with no art
filled with love but no heart

Sure of what counts
just not the amounts
a best friend for life
but not one friend in sight

devoted and true
nothing I wouldn't do
I'd be considered prophetic
if only I weren't so pathetic

inspired yet defeated
the pathology's too deep seated
spiritual yet devoid
perpetually annoyed...

Adlibb and Phade
I found my wife's
Pin pals letter.
Wrote about
How he loved
Very, very much
And found it harum to be
Her lover amidst the turn all
Around him.
Said he'd make her
Lover gay
And he would be
Exposed among his
Christian peers
And then they
Could marry
And spend his
Money in paradise.
He used medicated
Vaseline
So that he could
Be seen human in
The light of god.
Who is the poet
All of us!...

Mother of No Child
The mother of all
Protective and humble
With her manners that stands tall
A female that makes fledglings of no grumble
In her words are salvaging advice
A woman of virtue
The best of all that nurture humanity
She is cool, her presence is for the hurting; a medicated wool
Special she is
Forgotten not she will be
She will be told from one to another down through history
For the best of the best of women is she...

Premium Member Brothers In Arms
Walter took his life when he could not cope

With addiction and overdosed on pain

He tried very hard but then lost all hope

Found it too hard to control and abstain

Ralph medicated depression in vain

The rope's noose disobeyed his last command

His sadness was deep and mania grand

The bullet left just a brain bloody fame

As courage granted an ultimate stand

Too close for comfort as we were the same

Blinded
Branded, like a cigarette
crushing flesh to the bone
paralysed by fear
though you struggle on your own
your ego 's got you wary
while your mind's in control
shut empty and on edge
Oh Down you go

No formal introduction
to a girl without a face
arms stretched out wide
consoles me with her grace
she says, she's got the answer
to any kind of pain
medicated love
pyrotechnics for the flame

Guess i am
your muse my friend
oh Yes I am
she says ......
