too much loud noise when I am in the crowd
too much loud noise when I am in the crowd.
In the restaurant, someone drops a plate.
a child cries but I can't wait.
The speaker plays a long song.
too much loud noise when I am in the crowd....

A loud noise jars my senses
Rips me away from creative thoughts
And steals my inner serenity.
Is it a passing truck back-firing?
Or a teenagers glass-pack shouting
"Notice me, you fool,
I am
Macho man!"

Being as how I am the 4th graders lunch room monitor,
I think I know how a prison guard feels.
A loud noise gets my head up and turned.
When someone stands, I flip my head over there.
I would like to reach for my taser.
Unfortunately, the principal took it away.
Just kidding....

For Migrants No Other Choice
For Migrants No Other Choice

When we had heard voice after voice,
Containing crying making loud noise;
Heading here,
Still with fear;
Coming to America was only choice.

To arrive in America tried and tried,
And yet after all of this she still died;
Another migrant,
To heaven went;
No water supplied and father cried.

Silent Waters Run Deep
S-ilent waters run deep,
M-aking the river stay serene;
I-t's truly nice to know
T-hat the insight is
H-idden.

G-et the message from the words,
U-sing not the loud noise;
M-eaning of the phrases
A-ims not for the shallow voice.
W-isdom from heaven above
I-s truly worth to keep;
D-ay twenty-seven of September, silent waters run deep....

Premium Member Boom Rumble Tumble Boom
A rumbling constantly moves this room.
Boom. Boom. Boom. Room. Boom.
Boiler?
Monster?
Perpetual thunder king?

Rumble. Rumble. Tumble. Rumble.
Back and forth. Forth and back.
The constancy of it is more than I can take.
I have not gotten used to it yet.

This is year six.
Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Terrible place for a counselor’s office....

Premium Member The Hippo Went Down
Bam! Crash! Crack! The hippo went down.
A resounding loud noise in Ice Skating town.
Is the ice cracking? One of the owners cried.
Yes, another agreed, a snake has slithered inside.

I knew this was a lie for the snakes hibernate.
Keep going kids! I hollered. Go on and skate.
I helped the hippo get up and got him warm.
The rest of them left though, in a kind of swarm....

Bring Back Those Sad Songs
Bring back those sad songs,
like "Teen Angel" "Patches"
"Honey" "Ebony Eyes"
today what do we hear?

Loud noise, rap and more loud noise,
music today does nothing for love,
you really can't even sing to this
so called music.

So bring back those good old
songs of long ago, and lets get
down and do our thing, or
what ever these young kids
call it now days.

Premium Member Spilled Coffee
At the shopping mall
Coffee in my hand
Along with a scorn
I choose a table
To enjoy my treat

A loud noise s
is heard
It had startled me
Coffee in my hand
Then landed on me
From my top to slack

A horrible mess
Tried to clean it up
Did the best i could
Stains did not wash off

So spent the whole noon
Shopping in stained clothes
Till i found a new top
Replaced to wear...

Him and Me
You...
Your the one who put
Us through this
The nights we wake up
Hungry and you wasn't near
We looked out the window
It's still so clear
What a loud noise
To hear my baby brother cry
It wasn't just me
It was me and him
Doing your job
Since the day he was born
I'll love him forever
My baby,
He will always be mine
But what you put us through
Can never be rewind
You can never define!!!...

Hot,
cooking
days and nights.
Parades in town,
dancing horses ~ clowns.
Sky lights up everywhere,
pretty colors fill the air.
Animals do not like the noise,
the loud noise hurts their sensitive ears.
The fourth is over so Happy Birthday.

Signing Love
I try to look at life head on,
On some days I want to be gone.
Gone to a place far from the crowd,
Crowd out sounds in my head so loud.
Loud noise I cannot bear because I fear,
Fear, for speech is noise I cannot hear.
Hear what my lips and my fingers say,
Say that you accept what I sign today.
Today I simply just want you to know,
Know this dear heart, I do love you so.

HAVE A LISTEN

No one could stand it
A long quiet period
Yes! intense quiet
We who are so used to noise
We would go stark raving mad!

And what antidote?
Why the antidote is noise
With electric shocks
Little spurts of pure LOUD noise
But don’t overdo.

Look at today’s world
A world gone stark raving mad
A world in love with
NOISE! The worst cacophony
God grant us peace and quiet...

Premium Member Meeting Sarah
Sarah had wounded animal eyes whether she had been
an owl, a deer, or a dog is unknown.
However, I know that she must be treated as softly
and quietly as possible.
A loud noise
A fragrance
A light touch
Might re-traumatize her
Approach her as a tiny violet which has been broken,
stepped on and smeared in mud.
I advise her teacher to approach slowly and cautiously.
And above all, no sudden movements or touches....

Maze Runner
It was rainy afternoon
We met at cafe
With our wet clothes on
Drank a cup of Latte.

Made a loud noise
Everyone stared us
We even didn’t care
How they looked at us.

So I grabbed my pocket
There was none
We saw ourselves silent
Decided to run.

We stood up on a table
Smiling around
We ran out from cafe
Whining at town.

We laughed stupidly
Though we were chased
Like those crazy kids
Who run in a maze.

Premium Member You Won'T
you won't know my pain
when silent tears mix with rain
          get washed without being seen

you won't hear my voice
when cold cries mix with loud noise
I cling alone to my woes

you won't see my love
     when time mixes with money
          there are no memories made

Trapped
I am trapped , I have been in this same spot before, a self made prison
Search for a moment of glory and peace
Trapped and tormented, no peace in this crippling cell
I can't move , paralyzed by fear
My soul cries out
The voice in my head speaks loud, noise is all I hear
The inner man struggles
The war within is never ending
Death is an open door ,my only freedom
I pray to feel the sting of death in my feet
I pray for this peace...

Fireworks
Deafening loud noise fills the air
Bursting crackers middle of night
Smoke and pollution fills the air
Outside it is horrendous sight

Bursting crackers middle of night
Educated men doing it
It is definitely not right
Government should not permit it

Educated men doing it
Smoke and pollution fills the air
Government should not permit it
Deafening loud noise fills the air
