There once was a tipsy frequent flyer
Got the hots for a babe; tried to ply her --
   With choc'late liqueur
He got through to her --
Took a vow that his kids she would sire...

Janet went out, saw the grass was knee high
Hard she pushed, mower out and it did die.
With a kick start, all went blur
Nursing her coco liqueur
Running over neighbor's cat that went by.

Apricot pits can be

Added to a base of

Almonds, and you will have

An Italian liqueur,

A little bitter, but

Also so alluring

As sweet Tiramisu!

Blackberries are juicy and sweet

And very delicious to eat.

For me though, I think,

Are those I can drink-

Blackberry liqueur is my treat!

Lying upon the couch
Listlessly unmoving
Lethargic and sluggish
Like a sun-drugged lizard
Lacking the will to budge
Light hurts his heavy eyes
Liqueur played tricks on him.

Drunk As a Skunk
Drink to the rain falling down
Drink to the tears of a clown
Drink to get drunk
Drunk as a skunk
Drinks on the skunk, he's buyin' a round!

Has anyone seen a skunk drunk from a drink?
It's not a pretty sight you would think
They can hold their liqueur
And they can drink much quicker
They can't drive, but they do drink and stink!...

Some Carbs Or Other
cup me in some sweet condolences
leave me dusted in saccharin
after honey licks

there on your lips
autumn burst fruits
and
bruises

my blush of knowing
too much
my rush of tasting
enough
to be hooked on your liqueur

lips. granulated resistance
spent.
echo.
fullness empties,
echo.

coitus tristesse,
echo

sugar the fruits'

Ashtray For Thought
I finish my day with a nicotine high, and I find myself staring at the stars in the sky, thinking of him, thinking of the ghosts, of lips together and waves on the coast. Wet rocks and liqueur shots, driving fast, avoiding the cops. Every flick of my lighter is a memory, and every stump of a cigarette butt is another three. Death may be coming, but at least I'm happy....

Friends With Benefits
Triolet

*Friend with Benefits*

This mountain girl raised in the hills,
A friend with benefits turned more.
No attachments, detached, until.
This mountain girl raised in the hills
A perfect shot, can't get my fill
She tastes like sweet cherry liqueur
This mountain girl raised in the hills,
A friend with benefits turned more.

A Twilight Lens
A fish crow has tan-
blue sparkles; pearls coat the sky.
A resting brook

is melting chocolate,
it flows through lime-green sprouts.
A burning orange

is the sun;

yet a rock can wears
its hue. A stick curves up from
the water- a night

colored alligator
that spares biped shades of dusk.
A plastic liqueur

bottle is stepped
over; its dirt stained shape an
empty night, open....

Temptress myrrh, lips cherry liqueur,
slinky stir, pulsing panther purr,
femme fatale’s flirt dangerous tease,
wild-cat style pounce you to your knees!

Sinuous, sensual gyrate,
animal allure consummate,
delicious grin, deadly as sin,
inside-out she will spin your skin.

Prowling, growling and soft meow,
feline finesse, enchantress know-how...
tie you in knots, lie you a mess,
panther purr in little black dress.
